One of those days just nothing went right for us I guess.

Many players had poor games, Astbury had his worst in years, our small forwards were poor.

Too many dumb skill errors.

Credit to the Eagles they are a seriously well drilled, well structured unit...Umps sucked them off but thats not taking away from their performance.

s**t performance all around. Broad, Castagna, Butler etc were all s**t. Dusty isn’t at last years level. Its probably a good wake up call.

Its not the end of the world though. We lost the 2 toughest road trips in the comp. remember we got smashed by the saints last year. Every team has terrible games each season and that was one of ours.

And for god's sake, nobody complain about the umpiring. They got the rub of the green but our mids just panicked today and kicked it high and long directly to McGovern.

A good wake up call and credit to the Eagles, they'll be right up there in September.
