I'm learning all sorts of things about your sex lives tonight... I'm already wishing I hadn't...

I don't know how you were raised but if you find this sexual you're in a supportive environment.

Round Nine

After Round 8, the Hawks, Roys, Wonders and Furies occupied the top 4, with the Demons, Bombers and Dragons on equal footing at 4-4. At the other end of the ladder, the Bears and Swamprats were still searching for their second win. Could there be some Easter miracles?

Mount Buller Demons 10.9 (69) lost to Las Vegas Bears 19.6 (120)

The Bears caused a massive boilover in this game, toppling the 5th-ranked Demons by 51 points. The gamblers jumped the Demons with a 7 goal first term, led by skipper JoshWoodenSpoon, and heaped the misery on them in the final term with another 6, to record just their second win of S25.

Leading Disposals: sante (MBD) 33, sausageroll (MBD) 25, DapperDon (LVB) 24

Leading Goalkickers: Striker475 (LVB) 5, JoshWoodenSpoon (LVB) 3, Tarkyn_24 (MBD) 3

East Side Hawks 18.10 (118) defeated Coney Island Warriors 12.9 (81)

By now, the Warriors were in freefall, and a daunting task against the ladder leaders was too much for them. BRAB booted 6 as the Hawks fended off every feeble Warrior renaissance, and the Hawks went on with the job like an elite team to send the Warriors tumbling out of the 8. Only DapperJong provided some resistance against his ex-team.

Leading Disposals:candiehappy (CIW) 23, DapperJong (CIW) 22, Agent93 (ESH) 21

Leading Goalkickers: BRAB (ESH) 6, miggs (ESH) 3, Itsmyshow (CIW) 3, Wooshette (CIW) 3

Fighting Furies 12.6 (78) lost to West Coast Wonders 13.11 (89)

The Furies were poised to knock the Wonders off their top 4 perch at the final change. With Helen Wheels and This Is Anfield dominant up forward, they led until U2tigers wrested back the advantage for the Wonders halfway through the last, and it took a captain’s goal from haydo at the 23 minute mark to make the game safe for the Wonders. JT_the_man was prolific for the Wonders, while _Cayz_ responded in kind for the Furies.

Leading Disposals: JT_the_Man (WCW) 35, _Cayz_ (Fur) 30, U2tigers (WCW) 25

Leading Goalkickers: Helen Wheels (Fur) 5, This Is Anfield (Fur) 4, croweater 41 (WCW) 3

Dragons FFC 14.12 (96) defeated Baghdad Bombers 14.9 (93)

In MOTR between 2 teams with neutral records, the Dragons jumped the Bombers early to lead by 3 goals at quarter-time, and the Bombers never got within a kick until a brace of goals early in the final term put them in front and with momentum. It was due to the brilliance of WFL that the Dragons steadied, and they withstood a frantic final 5 minutes to barely grasp the win. Rookie ruckman Matty411 was superb for the Bombers, and Tony Lynn 15 as well, but the Dragons had the greater consistency.

Leading Disposals: Matty411 (Bag)26, Tony Lynn 15 (Bag) 25, WFL (Dra) 23

Leading Goalkickers: eth-dog (Bag) 5, Blaze Storm (Dra) 3

Sin City Swamprats 18.11 (119) defeated Gumbies FFC 18.9 (117)

In one of the more controversial games of the season, The Swamprats won on a resim after briefly being 1-8. After trailing by 3 points at the final final change, a flurry of goals had the Rats gleefully 17 points up, but the brave Gumbies fought back and nearly stole it, a late snap from Jade hitting the post and then the siren sounding as Jeremias ran into an open goal. This was the Swamprats’ Sliding Doors moment.

Leading Disposals: ant555 (SCS) 29, Ant Bear (SCS) 28, MattWriting (Gum) 28

Leading Goalkickers: Ant Bear (SCS) 5, Dingster (SCS) 4, 06Premiers (Gum) 4

Roys FFC 20.10 (130) defeated Gold City Royals 15.10 (100)

The S25 Roys proved they were made of the sterner stuff, with another commanding performance, this time over the Royals. A 7 goal first term set the tone, and the Roys cruised to a 47 point 3/4 time margin before easing off with the 4 points secured, as xenxen and fitzroybowiedog dominated. Only Ulahoopski and CakeEater provided any Royal resistance

Leading Disposals: xenxen (Roy)30, Stoods (Roy) 28 fitzroybowiedog (Roy) 26

Leading Goalkickers: MannumPower (Roy) 4, GreyCrow (GCR) 4, Mooch (Roy) 3
