Anyone got one or thinking of buying one? Thinking of picking one up with my iPhone on last legs. Seem to becoming more and more popular and have good reviews/specs from what I've seen.

I'd consider one if my current phone dies. Xiaomi is one of those brands like Hyundai and Hisense............ got a reputation for producing some utterly s**t products, but are currently building some good stuff. The downside is that accessories will be a lot harder to come by compared to your regular models.
They're pretty good but make sure the one you want will pick up the important local network bands. Band 5 (850) for Vodafone and 28 (700) for Telstra or Optus.

Just got a Redmi 5 for $215. Battery life is excellent. Seems functional enough but I’ve had a Samsung dinosaur for years.

have had a Xiaomi for the past couple of years. had the Mi 5s and just upgraded to the Mi 6. dont really have a bad thing to say about them. had no problems whatsoever. excellent bang for buck.
