Getting a side that finished 16th the year before into a PF final the next year proves he can coach. He is also a gentleman and a fantastic, genuine person. He might be very 'well read' but his actual understanding of the game in general is rubbish. Also they don't have to have been AFL players but surely they need to have some sort of experience playing at any level, heck even friggin ammos.

Having him on any sort of AFL committee is a disgrace.

He once used up HALF an episode of Offsiders crapping on about horse racing which whilst nothing against people that like it imo isn't even really a sport. Wasn't Melbourne Cup time or anything either. Thank Christ he's not ruining that show anymore.

I just want to get in before someone says Paul Roos. He did so much to get Melbourne into the position it is now. People forget how bad we were around 2012-13 era before he came along. He practically saved our club and did more for our club in his 3 years than say Damian Hardwick has done for his in 7 or Nathan Buckley has done in his time for Collingwood
