That is a really sad thing to hear. Vertigo is bloody awful and they say it can be caused by impacts to the head.
A real shame that we never saw the best of Curtly.
I assume we get the same ruling as Hawthorn in regards to cap space?

This really is the year that just keeps on giving.
If vertigo is dizzyness I believe I’ve been getting it sporadically. Bloody awful. Good luck Curtly.
Pyke doesn’t drink coffee unfortunatelyI assume we get the same ruling as Hawthorn in regards to cap space?

Sometimes the thinking can be that football is the best thing to attempt. Continue the training , continue the rehab and continue the socialisation. The next thing is to select a player 'hoping' that something clicks and the enjoyment comes backAll the best to you Curtly and your family. Sincerely wish you all the best. I'm glad we'll be supporting you with your recovery.
Now... how the **** do we play a guy lacking in motivation and with vertigo symptoms vs Richmond? Our most important match of the year.
Don't tell me we didn't know either. That would almost be worse imo. Plus he almost blurts out in his interview that he knew months ago he wanted to retire. If we were that seperated from his mental and physical state it's a disgrace.
Who were the emergencies that game?
BF posters don’t like ‘I know but I can’t say’ behaviourWill the leak be gone end of year? Clubs dont like that kind of behaviour.

He wasn't contracted for next year so does it really affect our salary cap? I'd assume he'd get paid out for the rest of the season.I assume we get the same ruling as Hawthorn in regards to cap space?

Is this why Pyke was so desperate to point out this was nothing to do with the pre season!Hope everything goes well for him in the future and he is not too traumatized next time be hears the Richmond song or boards a bus.
Pretty obvious he was the media leak.

Personally everything I read basically pointed to Betts being the one who wasn’t happy with the camp.Hope everything goes well for him in the future and he is not too traumatized next time be hears the Richmond song or boards a bus.

I think you mean the Richmond game, but yeah, it was odd. Even the commentators noticed and were asking if he was injured because he looked completely disinterested.I was going to suggest that he might be suffering from depression, the Hawthorn match was bizarre compared to a pretty good return against the Eagles. He had also been playing quite well in the Twos.
Another of the numerous examples of young AFL players with plenty of skill that never reach their potential.
Good luck in your retirement Curtly.
Hopefully the club has provided plenty of support long before this announcement.Listening to that interview I think the lad is possibly suffering from anxiety.
Very depressed.
Vertigo is a bastard of a thing.
Took me 9 months to fully recover from it.
All the best to Curtly.
Im fine with it. I will take anything I cn get and she did tell us one person who it wasn't. It's receiver beware with stuff like that. In this case tho the poster has runs on the board and isn't a known attention seeker.BF posters don’t like ‘I know but I can’t say’ behaviour
Betts wasn’t happy but it was Jacobs who took it upon himself to leak itPersonally everything I read basically pointed to Betts being the one who wasn’t happy with the camp.
