I’ve binged watched Series 1, 2 and 3 of ’detectorists’. I was captivated by the crazy world of metal detecting which holds this gem together. Written and directed by Mackenzie Crook (Gareth from The Office) who created a story which captured my attention from the first episode. I watched the first series on iView (episodes still available) and then found the remainder via google.

While I really like the Nirvana version I am not a big fan of theirs in general. Such a good song pretty much all the covers are great (I know you aren't big on covers). The Michael Stipe version with a piano as a tribute to Bowie is great.
