West Coast offered picks 20 and 22 for Kelly but weren't able to get the job done with that, and trading up is proving nearly impossible now as most clubs want the early picks. Probably the only option would have been to trade the seconds to Sydney for pick 13. But they missed out on that, Sydney had already traded their first out as they gained picks worth 1835 points for academy picks.

Can we profit from this in some way?

If we get 15 and 35 from hawks swap those for 20 and 22 if Geelong will take those picks for Kelly?

Apparently he was only 'moved on' by police, not arrested or charged, so that might be right.

Not much in the statement about why he was issued with the move on order

Suns have just traded in George Horlin-Smith for #59.

They just traded in George ****ing Horlin-Smith for more than they received for Aaron Hall or Jack Scrimshaw. Fold, you absolute joke of a football club.

Suns have picked up Horlin Smith.

That's now 6 players they've brought in, while only delisting 4 and losing Lynch.

Additionally they still already have 5 picks under 30. That's going to be a huge change of the guard by the time they're done.

I enjoyed the afl.com release basically saying he did nothing all year except a stand out performance against Port.

p.s why did that thread go? It was one of my favourites.

Their scenario is simple. Trade out high end talent for peanuts and then trade in dud players who need a home to stay in the AFL.

LOL Horlin Smith..of course his best game was against Port.

The 25-year-old managed just four games this year. One was a magnificent performance against Port Adelaide with the onballer picking up 26 disposals, eight tackles and two goals after coming in as a late inclusion at Adelaide Oval.

Gold Coast haven't really done any major delistings yet, the only players they've cut from the senior list are Matt Rosa (retired), Michael Barlow (delisted) and Michael Rischitelli (delisted, but they're going to re-draft him to the rookie list), plus Tom Lynch traded to Richmond, Aaron Hall traded to North Melbourne and Jack Scrimshaw to Hawthorn. Kade Kolodjashnij, Jack Leslie and Jesse Lonergan are out of contract, but Kolodjashnij will be traded to Melbourne, Leslie's future depends on if Steven May stays or goes, Lonergan is injury prone and will probably be delisted

Gold Coast Suns has traded its Rd 4 selection, currently selection number 68 (on traded from North Melbourne) to the Adelaide Crows for its Future Round Four Selection.
Why? Although Gold Coast probably come out on top the difference between 68 and what will probably be a pick in the low 60s isn't anything to worry about.

On the flip side, it will probably put an end to our winning streak against Gold Coast #spudsthattearusapart
