It's a very good question that the rules don't really cover. I'd say he definitely fits the 0% delistment criteria if/when he is suspended but it's just a matter of when he meets this criteria. Is it when he is charged by ASADA? When he is suspended? When he is delisted by Collingwood? I haven't really got my mind around that yet.
Yeah see that's the thing - I can't see him getting off, best case scenario is two years. But then if he isn't charged until after list lodgement, I'm sorta stuck as to what I can do with him.

Apply to Delist Cyril Rioli 100% due to walking away from the game - not 100% sure how this works with Veterans but I'll apply and get a ruling I'm sure

Very quiet on the bidding front.
Absolutely. Only 24 hours remaining until bids become active and restrictions are in place for the number of active bids you can make. Get your bids in!

Opposition player bids:

Ben Brown - 250,000 (3 years)
Travis Varcoe - 180,000 (2 years)
Sam Durdins - $200,000 (3 years)

Am I doing it right?
You can only bid on the uncontracted players from post #2. So if you want Brown and Durdin you'll have to arrange a trade for them.

Minimum bid for Varcoe as an opponent's bid is $218k for a 2 year contract (bolded in the bottom of the quote)...

Bidding on opponents' players
A bid on an opposition player consists of 2 things - a salary (between $174,000* and $1,500,000) and a duration (1 to 5 years). To beat the existing leading bid you must:
  • Match the salary;
  • Match the value (salary multiplied by duration); and
and either
  • Beat the salary by $10,000;
  • Beat the value by $25,000; or
Each club can make a maximum of three bids on each player. This number includes any invalid bids.
*Minimum opposition player bids are 174/218/261/304/348

Thanks. Edited.
haha, unfortunately you'll have to change it again ;)

The minimum contracts for opposition bids are... 174/218/261/304/348

The numbers represent the minimum bid for the separate number of years for the contract.

! year = $174k
2 years = $218k
3 years = $261k
etc...

Also, generally we haven't been allowed to edit posts for bids. It's better to quote the old post and make the change in a new post.
