What other country under even the worst non sensical UN or rabid left viewpoint west Jerusalem is part of Israel, it is their capital with the Knesset, highest court etc reside. They are our long time ally that the australian military had a small part in helping create, why insult them by putting our embassy somewhere else. Also why give Palestinians some false hope that they will get some unreasonable settlement that Australia will blindly look the other way.

I saw a full fence already covered with Sharma and anti-Phelps signs outside a voting booth this evening.

The people representing the other candidates were looking for somewhere to put their signs.

Wonder if the anti-Phelps ones have to come down before voting tomorrow. If not, can people put up anti-Scomo signs? Or can I vote with political slogans on my shirt?

Would also improve our economy long term by strengthening education and universities rather than proping up dying industries like coal.
