NRL star Jarryd Hayne has been accused of raping a virgin during his time with the San Francisco 49ers NFL team, civil court documents filed in a Californian court have revealed.

The NRL star, who played for the 49ers in 2015, was accused of rape in a civil suit filed in Santa Clara County today.

Parramatta Eels recruit Jarryd Hayne has strongly denied sexually assaulting a woman in 2015 during his time at the San Francisco 49ers after a civil suit was filed against him on Wednesday.

Hayne, who will start training with the Eels on January 3, sent a statement out through his lawyers on Wednesday afternoon (AEDT).

Just to balance out the accusations in this thread. As it Seems most people think hayne is guilty already. Its not unheard of for people to make false assault claims in the name of making a quick buck. Not that the alleged victim is lying.

False allegations are so common that it casts doubt on legitimate claims. At least, they seem to be common in media driven cases (motivation behind some allegations could be driven by a multitude of factors). But I do always subscribe to the theory of 'where there is smoke there is fire', and there is a lot of smoke around Jarryd Hayne.

After reading the latest article on hayne where it has comeout he bit a women during a sex romp that required surgery, have to agree with those putting the boots into hayne. What a f#$/ wit.
