You can type Richmond as often as you like yet losing the granny from 5 goals up is a massive choke
The assessments of those home and away losses to Richmond - #sobrave - were spot on.
In game injuries to key players on both occasions to Collingwood allowed tge Tigers to run away with both games late, but it was clear for all to see that all things being equal, the Pies matched up well against the Tigers.
And guess what happened when Collingwood met Richmond and didn't have any in game injuries?

Yes, West Coast had a great season, beat us three times and were very deserving premiers.
Shame about Richmond's season finishing a week earlier than all Richmond supporters could conceive was possible.

We are still pinching ourselves.
Started the season expecting a mid table finish if that. If you told us preseason we would lose Naitanui, Kennedy, Shuey,and Darling for the number of weeks we did no one would have tipped us to make the top eight. Never mind also losing Sheppard and Gaff for finals.
I suppose we need to cut Tigers fans some slack. One flag in 37 years is a big thing. Going from spitting on your own players to winning a flag within 12 months would be mentally challenging for normal people

In whose universe does ONE Preliminary Final take precedence over a win in the Grand Final? According to Eddiewood supporters nothing compares with 2018 PF victory over Tiges. They have now proclaimed they are a monty for this year's flag. A number of hurdles to overcome this year, the draw, poor record against top sides, and last but not least......INJURIES.
