Reckon it'll be a bunch of young adults find the old gear/vehicle, probably in the barn owned by Ray, we'll get proper involvement from the remaining living cast members. Something will happen, fun will be had.

That sounds good way better than the garbage all female cast Ghostbusters.

Yep. Sometimes the dud sequels get ignored. Like Star Trek V or Highlander 2. Wasn't Lady Ghostbusters set in a different universe anyway? So it makes even more sense to ignore them.

So much wrong with Leslie Jones tweet, with the main one being that not one person has said this sequel to GB2, will only have men, It'll certainly be a mix.
And she has seemingly forgotten that when her shitty movie was made everyone was told that their was going to be GBU. Her movie didn't exist in the timeline of 1 and 2, this new one does.

Thinking about this movie a bit (don't really want to watch the recent GB reboot - just don't) - would this franchise be better served by a darker and more serious tone-d take on Ghostbusters than a campy fun rolic. In recent times, some movies which have rebooted some semi serious TV shows have taken on a high camp and silly take (Starsky and Hutch being an example) - could GB consider doing the opposite. Sure we get nostalgic for the past but that feeling wears off quickly on some of these movies that are resurrected for Nostalgia sales rather than doing what their originals did.
