The poor need the government, they will vote for the government party. They will open the door for more low level workers, keep the market for jobs very competitive so nobody gets too far away. They vote for that party anyway.

When a slick politician roles up in a poor neighborhood and sells hope of a better life then the poor will vote for him. If after a time there is only small improvement then they will still vote for him. If the poor's life has a big improvement so they move up to the middle class then they have left the base behind and will vote for someone who will represent their interests now.

Vote for me because you are poor then I'll make sure you will never be better off otherwise I will lose my political base because I represent the poor.

So the slick politician really wants the poor to stay poor or else he could lose his voter base. "Don't worry about a job we'll look after you just tick this box". Mind you in the slick politicians defense some people just don't want to work for a living.

More like they say the system is keeping you down and I'm on your side.

Validate the feeling of oppression and reinforce that it's not your fault.

It's classic moves.

I don’t know but are humans intrinsically social animals. We all either are born to a family or must form something akin to one to function at all sensibly.

No man or women is and island
What they may acheive sits on the shoulders of human history and is entirely meaningless without everything that means.

And any good a man or women may be is dependent on their legacy. The legacy to those who live and work with them and their children.

The idea you purport suggests an individual exists outside time or affiliation as if the interpersonal can be all dismissed as impersonal. As an individual can be entirely without emotions. A world like that is no world at all or a world of disconbectness and alienation.

The question arises how such a world could have any meaning at all.
We are social animals. But that has nothing to do with how we distribute wealth in the same way it has nothing to do with how we distribute power. We dont have monarchies with power passed down family chains anymore. We no longer are reliant on families to educate us, protect us from crime like we did in the past either. Nor are we responsible to pay the debts of our grand parents either. Do these changes over the past 3 centuries make us less social animals?

Why should we have our wealth determined by how hard our families have worked. Families might enjoy each others company more if the older generation didnt have this pressure from the younger generation to live frugal lives and provide them with inheritance. Older people would also feel less guilt from spending and enjoying their lives. Younger people in wealthy families would also be more encouraged to make their own way in life and recieve the mental reward that comes from achieving things through merit and effort.

Why am I not surprised that the usual suspects have yet to discuss the brave Trump fan who decided to shove a BBC cameraman while at the latest rally.
You know where again the media was pointed to as fake news.
This is what happens when convince fools that the media is the enemy.

Are you honestly saying that some (some) of the mainstream media aren't the enemy. Whoever thought we will live in a world where the left thought CNN, BBC etc were the good guys and Julian Assange is the bad guy. Bizarre.

Oh look he replies.

When you get back to me about those stats. I'll converse with you on your thoughts about media being the enemy.

What is to discus
Camera man pushed
Offender stopped by others at the rally
From the podium Trump even checked to make sure camera man was okay
Whitehouse has denounced the attack
With footage the offender will be identified,so we should see an arrest

You know where again the media was pointed to as fake news.
Far too much of their coverage of Trump and Trump supporters is
Nick Sandmann ring a bell?

This is what happens when convince fools that the media is the enemy.
There is that arrogance

Yes the world has changed dramatically over the last 200 plus years but whether someone is socialised with the confines of a traditional family or some variation - it amounts to much the same thing. Whether an individual is intimately connected within a traditional family or intimately connected to a small group of friends. And whatever the changes of the last 200 years, there is no evidence that a father or mother is any less connected to his/her children.

Over recent decades in western culture, the secular state has increasingly become more influential thru education, social welfare, health, economic and public policy. Much of this expansion of state power has occurred without much or any discussion. In fact, quite the contrary much of it has occurred under bureaucratic organs of government by stealth and justified by vague claims of community. This trend has grown to create super bureaucracies, global organisations, agreements, multinational powerful companies - and all of this has disenfranchised the individual.

Much of the current political heat around world is best understood and explained from this perspective. The state's encroachment into our lives is hitting limits of its utility and the public's toleration. As the states power increases it becomes inevitably tyrannical.

You appear to have become possessed by this larger role for the state as a good thing. And this possession explains a lot of what I find weird and unhinged coming from your posts on a range of topics. Without constant transparent scrutiny and accountability for its inevitable excesses - I think you will find the State historically always leads to hell. Whatever the flaws of family, groups and community, there is no inventing some new monolithic state model to supplant the efficacy of those traditional bonds. Particularly where that State promises some kind of nirvana - It is neither possible nor even desirable.

LOL. Sorry, my apologies. Up until now I've pretty much ignored your posts as inconsequential dribble. I shouldn't have continued on but had a temporary moment of weakness. Nothing to see here, carry on.

No that isnt arrogance. That is pointing out how fear mongering and describing certain sections as the enemy, can have consequences.
Well hopefully the media dont cover the rally's anymore. Why would they if they are not given security.
Problem will be Trump wont have anyone to point at.

We can talk about that outrage, once we work out what to do with the growing demographic of SJWs living in the richest nations in world history, who remain a useless burden living at home with mum and dad well into their 30s, lacking any ambition, who know everything that is wrong in the world but do nothing about anything but whinge.

This is what happens when you convince fools that ordinary people are their enemy.

Hahaha oh do you have a needle and thread you have me in stitches.

More like you are one that when faced with facts runs away because they dont want to admit they were wrong. You are a coward.

Trolls at least serve a purpose.

Good guys, Bad guys?

You clearly watch too many old cowboy movies with the White hats V the Black hats.

The media are not the enemy. The lack of analysis & being selective on how things are presented are not good. It just requires one to have as an open mind as possible & to look at various news outlets. Also to be aware of biases as they present.

I made my mind up on Trumpy after looking at his business & personal background. Being aware of him over the decades & his activities as they have been observed on the media in general. He tweets & speaks for himself. That just reinforces ones opinion of his character.

He is an arrogant fat orange slug. A shyte of a human being who is & always was a con artist. Simple really. He own actions, words, tweets & attitudes has not altered through the years.

If anything, his Presidentual 'style' is even worse than I'd thought it would be.

Further, he is a divisive, bullying, compulsive liar. He always has been. Nothing has changed. The sooner he is gotten rid of, the better.

No one else, expect perhaps a religious neocon with dementia, would/could be as damaging to the fabric of US democracy & society as Trumpy is.
