I have no issue with any of that, but reality is if he's fit he will be selected rd1.

Certainly hope so.

In the Bankers on-ball division.

After a month proving his durability there, he could be sensibly elevated to the seniors.

Any course of action outside of that seriously underestimates the trouble he has had getting any continuity in his footy since joining the club.

A little whisper up here indicates that one of the QLD teams are interested. I'm not sure how true it is but he supposedly has family up here and the warmer climate is of interest.

Just something I heard before news of him putting contract talks on hold surfaced. I then gasped.

I hope he can be traded for somebody worthwhile, but if nobody gets to see him strut his stuff, his trade value will drop.

I hope it's false first and foremost.

Dont we already have a heap of options for down back...?
I suppose it's more the need to replace with like for like. Rohan has run and carry, is penetrating by foot and has natural breakaway speed which is something we lack.

It could also open the door for Clark to debut early.

Trying to nut it out .... has he been training down back?

Bews Blitz Henry

Trying to nut it out .... has he been training down back?
Recruited to provide pressure in the front half after playing much of 2018 at Sydney as a forward, Rohan has been training predominantly as a forward this summer.

However, the 27-year-old's ability to add speed from defence will be strongly considered.
"We haven't ruled out the possibility of Gary Rohan playing back at times as well, we've seen him do that to good effect, mainly as an extra number with Sydney," Scott told AFL.com.au.
"Our recruiters still talk about him playing as a defender in his junior career.
"Like most of our team, form's going to come into it in a big way and it can be a mistake to lock yourself into a certain mix."

With Harry Taylor (195cm) back to full fitness, he'll have a fight on his hands to win a spot against best and fairest Mark Blicavs (198cm), Lachie Henderson (196cm), Jack Henry (191cm), Jake Kolodjashnij (193cm) and Tom Stewart (190cm).
Despite training Henry as a defender this summer, after spending the last six weeks of 2018 as a forward, Scott hinted at the prospect of using the 20-year-old as a swingman within games.
"Every now and then I think Jack Henry could end up a pretty good second tall forward," Scott said.
"Even going back to the VFL footy that Jack played (in 2017), he showed a pretty strong history of playing as a defender then going forward and finding a way to kick goals.
"Our logic is that we don't need him to train much as a forward to have the option of throwing him there in a game.
"We don't want to think too far ahead and we don't want to rule anything out but when you go through the names there, it's a better position to be in that not having enough options.
"There's a bit of flexibility in there and competition for spots."

Or wait for it.

Cam Guthrie come on down.

Very hyperbolic take. Thurlow was tracking nicely pre-ACL, then was never the same again.

It happens. One of the many reasons why ACLs are the absolute pits.

Makes what Menz did post 4 even more remarkable really.

GO Catters

I think thats where he has played his best footy... its worth try to see if can get something out of him... he is signed for another 3 years..
I shiver anytime he goes near the ball down back these days,he leaks easy goals,if he could reproduce what he was doing 3 or 4 years ago fine but to me looks to have lost the desire to win the ball at all cost.

Any mention of Cockatoo's career ending injury on Okunbor's instagram?
My feel when I read that report was that we are just being ultra cautious with Cocky, but at the same time it wouldn't be the first time Scott has blatantly bullshitted to reporters and Cockys history absolutely suggests that he could easily be hurt again.

We are getting 2 parts of * all out of the club as is standard so guess we will find out in good time when the actual practice matches start

I don't think I've ever heard less from or about a clubs first round draft pick than us with Clark.. You'd be forgiven for forgetting he even existed at all

Dont we already have a heap of options for down back...?

As pointed out by the list of tall options quoted in that article! Those guys are all pretty much too good to play ressies. One or two will be injured at any given time, but why they haven’t seriously looked at Henderson as a key forward over the last year or two (especially now that blitz has found his spot back there) is beyond me.

It's like just f**king say "We'll See How the campaigner Pulls Up!!"
Don't need a fu**en fixed mindset or to outline anything.
Aaaaarrrrrgggh it shits me!

He is an obsfucator of the highest order. I’m sure there is a senior level public service role waiting for him somewhere if he ever moves on from footy.
