has issues? exits are usually kept fairly quiet..curiously he wasn't picked up by another club? or partington?

Lamb was touted as a top 20 player pre draft and i think some even had him top 10 on potential but there were a lot of attitude problems apparently.

Partington i got no clue.

A damn fine question...was being touted/hoped for as the next mid/forward, couldn't break into the squad for whatever reasons, then was unceremoniously given his wheely-bag and shown the exit!
Yet we kept Mutimer, presumably for the 2's.
I don't know the real answer, but like Tom Lamb perhaps some players just don't 'click' with the team or the club, a personality thing..? But we have Venables and others tracking nicely, suggesting there was better depth coming through anyway, possibly with more unique skills..

Occams razor

1) Partington wasn't AFL standard, which is why no one bothered to draft him again after we cut him
2) Mutimer is contracted for 2019, Partington wasn't. Mutimer will need to turn it around big time as he is one of the first in line to be delisted this year

Sounds like Gaffy is just catiching up with his team mates and the Eagles breeding program.

Club is so wealthy Id be hooking NicNat up to be a surrogate father to half a dozen tall african chicks. Majac Naitanui's start coming through every year in 18 years time.

Pretty sure they that is what the Nic Nat academy they have set up is going to evolve into.

Can we throw in one small asian chick for our f/s accounts department?

Are they any good?

The three F/S prospects are all middle agers, haven't heard much about their performance and by the looks of it, they didn't get many, if any colts games last season.

I am tad bias, but Jordan, Ezekial and Manese are all excellent players who dominate club footy. Jordan and Ezekial play club footy together for Ocean Ridge who got beaten in last years GF to a team stacked with State and Futures (U16) level players. Ezekial was also selected in the Boomerangs squad and State 16's but never played a game. Manese was selected as a backup to the World-18 squad. Jordan is the nephew of an ex-Eagles rookie. All three are bottom agers for their respective WAFL clubs so this season will tell if they hold much promise.

Can see Parto in 2-3 years time just cleaning up in the SANFL and everyone calling for him to get re-drafted. He's got Mitch Grigg/Bolton/schloith written all over him. That said he probably could get a second go if he can improve his disposal and defensive game.
