Dangerfield no lock for mine. Geelong may only win 1 of their first 6 games.

GEELONG 2019 FIXTURE
Round 1: Collingwood at MCG, Friday March 22 at 7:50pm (Away)

Round 2: Melbourne at GMHBA Stadium, Saturday March 30 at 7:25pm (Home)

Round 3: Adelaide Crows at Adelaide Oval, Thursday April 4 at 7:50pm (Away)

Round 4: GWS Giants at GMHBA Stadium, Saturday April 13 at 1:45pm (Home)

Round 5: Hawthorn at MCG, Monday April 22 at 3:20pm (Away)

Round 6: West Coast Eagles at GMHBA Stadium, Sunday April 28 at 4:40pm (Home)

Sure they play 3 of those games at their unusual shaped boutique ground, but Danger will still cop the tag.I might pick him up in round 7 when he is cheaper.

Teams usually tag Selwood though, he's easier to tag. Why would this change? Danger's lowest score last year was 94. How often do the Crows, Pies, Hawks and Giants tag anyway?

Danger not only a lock, but first picked given his DPP. Danger vs those sides mentioned last year...

West Coast-100
GWS-108
Melb-DNP + 126
Haw-130 + 160
Coll-137
Adel-158

Average of just over 131. Drinking so much on a week night should be prohibited;):drunk:

Yes, fair point but his price will fluctuate and could be a good reverse point of difference.

Danger averaged 121.7 last year.
He averaged 120.5 in wins.
He averaged 123.1 in losses lol.

If anything, your reasoning of Geelong maybe losing early games makes him an even better pick.

True, but if he doesn't perform or gets injured ,you have an advantage over everyone that picked him.

has changed a few times and will change a few hundred more! team 180219.jpg

Forwards are obviously weak, and will need to change my ruck strategy to make it work in rd 1-2 (hopefully with a rookie)... look forward to the feedback!

True but it’s risky not having Dangerfield/Fyfe types because of their ceiling alone. Not many 120+ players in the league.

Gambling that the biggest lock of the year will get injured ain't great odds imo. May as well leave Grundy out too. Leaving out someone who can average 130+ available as a fwd is crazy talk.
Yes but you can pick him up down the track and use that money elsewhere, it's a risky ploy though I agree.

Version 1Million:

DEF: Sicily, Whitfield, Z.Williams, Collins, Logue, Quaynor (Duursma, Hore)

MID: Cripps, Fyfe, J.Kelly, Martin, Brayshaw, Bewley, Gibbons, Hind (Hately, E.Smith, W.Hayes)

RUC: Grundy, Goldstein (Fort)

FWD: Dangerfield, Heeney, Dunkley, Gresham, Setterfield, Cavarra (Parker, Corbett)

A bit worried about my defensive line, but most recently changed Nankervis to Grundy and dropped Roberton down to a rookie.

3 breakout type players in Williams, Brayshaw & Gresham.

Thoughts?

You ever change your team in the pre-season and swear the trade tracker went down to 28?

Gives me nightmares.

Pretty happy with most of this.

Rory Laird, Lachie Whitfield, Zac Williams, Tom Williamson, Connor Rozie, Isaac Quaynor, Jack Scrimshaw, Jez McLennen
Patrick Cripps, Clayton Oliver, Josh Kelly, Lachie Neale, Dustin Martin, Bailey Smith, Will Setterfield, Brett Bewley, Liam Stocker, Luke Valente, Michael Gibbons
Max Gawn, Archie Smith, Zac Clarke
Patrick Dangerfield, Isaac Heeney, Robbie Gray, Michael Walters, Isaac Rankine, Nic Blakley, Chris Burgess, Ben Cavarra

Keen to see how Michael Hibberd, Brodie Smith, Dylan Roberton, Zac Merrett, Rory Sloane, Luke Parker, Darcy Fort, Toby McLean, Tim Kelly and Toby Green look going into the start of the season.

My team,
Please criticise !
POD - Fantasia
Value - Roberton
Ruck - may change.
Rookies - weak backline may down grade gwan to Fox this.
