Was this game extremely laggy for anyone else this weekend? I haven't had an issue with it previously, but this weekend I had constant rubber banding and 'connection interrupted' messages in blackout

* this game with all these fn updates, 3 10+ gb updates in two weeks is ludicrous, had to delete 70 gigs worth of games just to download this newest one. Might just get rid of it and go back to one that doesn't take up 90% of my damn hard drive.
 
Thought i would give this another go tonight...

Treyarch are ******* hopeless.

This is the most broken piece of s**t out of all the broken pieces of s**t they have ever released.

Matchmaking errors, host migration errors, graphics errors(blank white squares instead of items) flag caps not working in Dom, continually kicked back to lobbies, connection interrupted constantly, games not loading, blue screens of death....

Absolutely horrendous
 
14 gig update again this week and the changes were very minor. Rumoured bigger update next week again but at least this one should have content. Damn annoying when internet in Australia is so s**t and if have an earlier model ps4 with a smaller HD.

I love that they keep buffing and nerfing weapons when they don't need it yet somehow can't fix the pogo sticking bs that plagues the game.
 
Just fix the pissweak SMGs ffs
I feel like the GKS and Saug are pretty decent but the rest do feel weak as piss to me. I feel like the assault rifles besides the Maddox aren't that good anymore either. The VAPR was a solid gun early on but the gun got nerfed to the point that it feels useless. I guess as long as they keep their sniper community happy they're happy.

All these ridiculous 10+gb updates and i still can't choose my starting weapon when joining a match that has started.


They need to also make specialists limited to one of each for each team. Sick of playing matches where my team and i dominate only for two guys sitting bottom using the Zero specialists to take over scorestreaks such as attack choppers etc...and win the game for their team.

Yeah. The real problem with this game is that it never feels like you're playing a finished product because they release a new ******* update every couple weeks. And then you have to re-adjust to all the weapons they've buffed or nerfed. And the cycle repeats itself. The game always has this feeling of being a work in progress.

And I don't know about anyone else but to me this game feels exactly like Black Ops 3 now, minus the advanced mobility. It had a distinctly different feel from BLOPS3 when I started playing, but with all the changes they've made it feels like a BLOPS3 carbon copy. I can't put my finger on why that is exactly.

League Play Arrives Feb. 21 on PS4

As we mentioned in our recent League Play blog, the World League Hub and League Play are coming to Black Ops 4 as part of next week’s new Operation on PS4, and League Play kicks off later in the week with our first League Play Event starting on Thursday, Feb. 21.
We can’t wait to see how the competitive meta evolves with the gameplay tuning changes listed above. It was good for a couple of months

I think it's still good, it's just confusing to me that the devs are still chopping and changing things 5 months after release. The constant changes/patches make the game feel like it's still a work in progress, like it's in a perpetual beta phase. It seems like they're confused and can't decide what they want the game to be. I wish they would just leave it alone. The only changes they should be making are adding more stuff: maps, weapons, characters etc.
 
It sounds like I'm one of the very few on here that is actually enjoying this game. Yes I agree that it is nowhere near what in my opinion is the greatest COD in MW2, but it is way better than the rubbish that has been thrown up since then (BO2 up to WW2). I actually have the want to fire it up on the rare occasion I have some time to play a game these days, where the previous few installments I played a few times and never fired trash back up again.
 
It sounds like I'm one of the very few on here that is actually enjoying this game. Yes I agree that it is nowhere near what in my opinion is the greatest COD in MW2, but it is way better than the rubbish that has been thrown up since then (BO2 up to WW2). But I'm kind of confused by the continual updates to nerf and buff weapons. Like WTF are they trying to do? Will they ever get to a point where they think everything is balanced enough and just leave it alone, or are they going to keep tampering with weapons and stuff for the duration of the game's lifespan?
 
I have been turned off Zombies ever since BO3 when they concluded the Richtofen/ Maxis/ Sam Easter Egg.
New zombies dont care.

Multiplayer I actually enjoy, have Prestiged twice (which i didn't think i would but since i was at the level cap, i may as well get XP while i continue to play)

I'm fairly certain the developers have people reading things like the reddit forums and twitter activity. It seems like as soon as a gun seems overpowered, the kids on reddit for example have a huge whinge for a couple of weeks about it and Treyarch repond by nerfing that weapon. The problem is that when they nerf that weapon, the next best one seems overpowered and they then whinge about that one until it gets nerfed too.. never ending cycle unfortunately..
