If he isn’t signed by mid year I’d be fairly confident he comes

If it’s taking this long to re-sign both times I’d say he comes home now.Yeh high profile targets not signing by mid-year has proven great news for us on the last 3 occasions.
Yeah...If it’s taking this long to re-sign both times I’d say he comes home now.
Being a long term deal you would think either way means home now or at the end of his career
What happened to the "agreement" that he was leaving this year? :stern look
It had the same legal binding status as that "agreement" you had with Elle MacPherson 30 years ago :stern look
I want him to come as much as the next guy but the reliability of this source has closed the book for me.
The Swans are playing GWS in a praccy game right now and are flogging them 50-13. See the light Josh!
We've been there done that numerous times over the last few seasons. If he isn’t signed by mid year I’d be fairly confident he comes

There was no agreement per se. He was convinced to do the two years then reassess, having fulfilled his initial obligation to the club who gave him his start.
Same narrative the AFL duped the general public with about He Who Must Not Be Named. The stupidest part about 'repaying the club that gave you your start' in Josh's case is that he wasn't exactly plucked from obscurity and was lucky to be selected.
He was the second person drafted in his year. Every side would've picked him. He was a sure thing.

Pretty sure that there were posts with alleged inner scrotum thouthes that claimed there was an agreement in place that he would play out the two years and then join us.
What you are saying sounds reasonable, it is suspect that his initial contract he almost signed was for less money and a longer term and they only managed to get 2 years extra out of him.
