I’ll have a go:

Hampton Park

End hills
Black rock
Ashwood

Clayton
Sth yarra
Cerberus
Mt Waverley
Few handy pick ups by the hilly boys. Looks like its between them and the hp boys for the flag.

Black rock some decent pick ups... will def make finals this year

Clayton were awful in div 2 last year but have picked up some good players that can cut it in div 3. Not sure who will take that 4th spot. Either ashwood or clayton
Hills need to pick up a few more after what they have lost from last year.

They have only lost hoe from the quality bunch
But if you look carefully, they have picked up a handful of decent players from the vafa plus ward who won the bnf 2 seasons ago. Regardless of wards age, his still a superstar

How can things be so bad at a footy club for so many players to walk out and go elsewhere? Do they not have any compassion towards the club? Surely it’s in the back of their mind that by so many leaving, the club may be goneskie.

Endeavour Hills have pulled out of the Good Friday match. Ashwood have now been asked.

any reason for them pulling out doggies? great atmosphere and great experience for the younger players.
not a stand alone game this year but will still be a good crowd......

HP are greedy & wont share any sort of gate revenue despite the opposing club playing over a long weekend when no games are scheduled. Surely they have to come to some sort of agreement with whoever they play against and cut them a share...

Not too sure - I just assumed availability of players.

Mount Waverley have called it quits for 2019.
Absolutely weak as piss by the players there, but not at all surprising.

Everyone happy to be the dominant side in a lower division, but things get a bit tough when they finally go up and the players all run off with their tails between their legs.

They need to take a long look at some of the clubs that are perennial battlers, but still manage to put 2 sides out on the ground every week.

The club will never be seen again!

Unfortunately they won't be the only one's who close up shop in the near future, sad times for local leagues especially low division teams.

So what is the actual go with MtWav? They found it tough in div2, some players didn’t want to stick around because of that? Wouldn’t they therefore be keen to play in div3 if that was the case?

Mass exodus, they were competitive in both seasons they competed in whilst in div2 so doubt it was based on being smaller fish in a bigger pond. Gotta build a culture for blokes to want to hang around a club. My thoughts are there is more to this than not winning enough games to play finals.
