Hardie in for his debut, Moody out
Short to 3, Inglis 4, and Philippe 7?
okay whatever.

Stanlake for Gannon the other change
I'd guess that they got the order wrong. Marsh batted 4 and Cartwright is in now at 5.

Neser screws WA again. Lolz WA, way to end the season on a bang. Bowlers are going to have to bowl out of their skins here.

I do wonder if he goes to England. Would suit the conditions well.

They can only play 4 bowlers though, that's the issue and just about every Shield bowler's name has been thrown up an I'm yet to really hear Neser suggested. Would've thought he'd at least be on the A tour.

Not necessarily in the starters, but the 5th quick is probably between him, Bird (favourite) and Tremain.

Yeah, I think the four of them fight it out on the A tour.

Yep and maybe one left field selection that isn't so much a selection for the Ashes but rather one for the future, so maybe a Meredith or someone like that,

Can see the A tour having a few left field calls.

I think it'll be pretty straightforward due to the fact that only Warner, Smith and Khawaja will be in the WC squad. They'll be picking Head, Patterson, Pucovski, Wade, Paine, Harris, Burns and Bancroft to duke it out.

Career Sheffield Shield bowling records for Queensland

Michael Neser - 28.01 average, 55.31 strike rate, 3.03 economy rate

Luke Feldman - 25.62 average, 50.63 strike rate, 3.03 economy rate

Mark Steketee - 27.79 average, 54.55 strike rate, 3.05 economy rate

Billy Stanlake - 22.76 average, 49.38 strike rate, 2.76 economy rate

Cameron Gannon - 27.56 average, 64.37 strike rate, 2.56 economy rate

Does anyone actually rate them though? Just feels like nobody really considers any of them to be anything great (obviously Stanlake has received higher honours in the limited overs formats, and Neser has played a couple of ODIs too), despite their records.
