Although our JLT form was poor, i'm starting to feel more confident about this game.
The fact is our team is stronger than last year and GWS's side is weaker.
Moreover, if you actually look at the back end of last season:

In their last 10 games the Giants defeated the following sides;
- Richmond by 2
- Power by 22
- Saints by 25
- Carlton by 105
- Adelaide by 13
- Sydney by 49

Defeating Richmond is a good achievement but as we know the Tigers are susceptible on the road.

Lost to the following sides
- Sydney by 20
- Melb by 40
- Collingwood by 10
- West coast by 11

As you can see, maybe the Giants simply aren't as good as some believe?
Those results don't look too bad to me?

Imagine from the extended bench it will be Walla, Smith and Francis are locks.

Out of Parish, Laverde and Guelfi for that final bench spot.

I imagine it will be Parish with Guelfi the travelling emergency as he can cover all 3 different areas of the ground.

Walla and Smith are certainties. I would like to think Francis is, too.

Probably leaves the last spot to either Parish or Guelfi.
Baguely being named on the field is the surprise.

I suspect Guelfi plays somehow. We generally play 7 defenders, and I'm assuming Brown plays forward, so Guelfi is the logical choice to play as the 7th.

No Parish, yep he is rapidly becoming a depth player.

Well and truly surpassed by
Guelfi - the faster, taller better defensive guy who was picked 71 places later in the draft two years later. Predicted this one a long time ago.

I hope we can get something for Parish in a trade.

Have you read the 'No Whipping Boy 2019' thread?

Excited by the inclusions.
All bench players will play as named. Great to see Zerk named as an emergeny.
Love Brown across half back. Awesome by Ridley. He is going to be a very good footballer. Very efficient & great contested player.

No Patton, Lobb & especially no Mummy Ward or Kelly :)

With Belly controlling the ruck, the smashing Stringer & Sheil Merret, Smith, McGrath and Heppell smashing it out of the middle to Smack / Fantasia & Tippa up forward we win by 20pts
