I’m not disagreeing that players especially young ones have ups and downs , how does that defeat any of myarguemrnts. Jack newnes and Mav Weller had Ups and downs and were still picked each week. However it seems there have been countless occasions where players have been dropped whilst other lesser players with lesser performances have kept there spot

You speak as if every rebuild is linear. What defines when a side is rebuilding?

2014 and 2015 we were poor (understandably so), 2016 we had a crack at making the eight, same as in 2017. 2018 we fell away and this was only really poor year under Richardson. It's one thing to miss finals but show signs, but it's another to miss finals and not show anything, and 2018 was the only year we did that.

We have undergone massive change at the club - management - coaches - players and things are starting to look like we are heading in the right direction , however we still here the sack Richardson calls and what idiots they are for signing Hannerbery.

I haven't heard anyone say management had the balls to snare Max King even with the injury he had or picking up Bytel knowing every club bypassed him due to injury.

They are 2 of the best draft picks we have scored for many years and we are lucky we secured them with the picks we had.
And just give them a couple years to mature and we are set for many years to come.
The same goes with Hunter - Clarke and Coffield .

Only 12 months ago, Jack Bytel was tipped to be selected near the top 10 in this year’s National Draft.
Bytel’s 2017 was so brilliant it had set him up to be one of the elite selections in the 2018 draft according to AFL Academy coach Luke Power.
Injuries curtailed the 2018 season of the prolific Calder Cannons co-captain and midfielder but according to Power.
