Excited to see us play today.
Wanting us to crack in, show some poise with ball in hand and kick some goals!

Our midfield needs to give Peter Wright opportunity against a very young defence.

Really want him to kick 3-4 goals.
Has kicked 3+ 8 times in his 49 game career - one 5 goal haul.

Let's start the year off on a good note Pete!

Just play well. Don't stink up the joint, especially on the road.
More important than the result imo.

Build a base of performance where we play well most weeks.

Keep an eye on %. If we can't get it above 70% we are kidding ourselves.
Blues and Suns were 59% last year. We might have won 4 games but that % is just woeful.

Finally the season starts! Been a round of supposed upsets so far (terrible start to going) so hopefully we can keep it going

I'm feeling good about this one. The stage is set for us to show what we're made of (like Port, Hawthorn, Bulldogs and Brisbane did yesterday).

Don’t really care about the win - just want to see some effort and some impressive signs of improvement

Footys back you beauty.
Can the SUNS continue the trend of the round with so many upsets happening already.
My expectations for the year are not overly high but like a lot of other supporters just want to see an improvement in our
ability to stay in games a lot longer than the past couple of years.
Todays game gives us a realistic chance to record an early win, this St Kilda team is as weak as any opposition side
we will play all year .
Would love to see our younger players starting to show signs that they are heading to the next level in their development.
Keys for us to win !
Peter Wright needs a big game , this is his big chance.
Our midfield needs to at least contain the St Kilda mids .
Jarred Witts needs to impose himself at every contest ,previously has struggled to dominate inexperience opposition.
Martin ,Hanley Weller need to be at there best.
Should be close .
Suns by ten points.

Geez they’re pumping up Luko on TV. I hope he gets a touch. Body is still 2-3 years away from making a real impact IMO.
Win win for the media, gives the media a chance to say we haven’t developed him if he doesn’t touch it and if he does the narrative will be the Crows and Port will be taking note

Not a good start.
Cant keep the ball in our hands.
a few kick and marks to settle it down much needed

They're winning at the stoppages too
