Kind of a sad day for me. I had to leave my cat, Lily, back in the states when I moved back to Australia two years ago. She was a shelter cat, a Snowshoe Siamese. Nine years ago today she adopted me. I was able to return her to the shelter before i left the US. I was heartbroken when I said goodbye to her. Lily provided my late mum and me seven years of happiness. The shelter contacted me after my return here that she had been adopted by an elderly woman who had lost her cat recently. I hope both are still together and enjoying their lives.
