With all of the programs and services out there for ex service people, I wondered if there was a ex-servicemens football team in the Perth area?
I had no luck and am now looking to see if there is any interest amongst the veteran community in the area.
My thoughts are to start fairly low key, depending on numbers. Basically just a kick in the park & a BBQ (a few frothies afterwards of course).
I have a few contacts in the sunday league in Perth and depending on interest may be able to enter a team eventually.
Starting out we would welcome ex ADF, Police & emergency service players, along with friends or family (I know how hard it an be coming into a new group).
Both men and women are welcome, so if you or someone you know would be interested, let me know and we can set something up.
