After a couple of big moments against Collingwood when the game was up for grabs he stood up again against port. Must say it is also refreshing to see him block for others as well. The combination of his movement - clean hands and blocking usually leads to a few open attacking plays a game. Now we need him to build the pre dog act confidence he has going against the eagles.

Gotta say I've scoffed at some of the treatment he's gotten on here.

He's doing pretty well for a 2nd year player playing the inside mid position
Yep! Been saying for ages he is a ripper. Just give him the man's body to go with the boys ambition and he will greatly impact games. Love Andy! Future captain
and AA midfielder.

Getting goosebumps reading this thread.

Its funny, you think of players winning games off their own boot, you think Gablett and Judd like performances first and foremost. Speed and agility with silk on top. We dont put AS much credence in the Selwood and Kennedy (Sydney) performances. Going from contest to contest when your body says no more, tackling like a mad man, realising the big moment when its there.

AB is the definition of a leader. He will likely never have a 30 touch 3 goal game, but he'll have plenty of 30 touch, 6+ tackle games, and he'll drag players around him across the line. He's the type who will win 2+ BnFs but never close to a Brownlow and thats fine by me, kid is a ripper.

He could definitely become a poller if his possession count rises. Contested handballs and tackles won Priddis a brownlow.

In the post game interview about big moments on the Freo website a few of them mentioned ABs rundowns. It would be such a lift for the guys out there.
Very highly rated within the team. Straight after the team song against Collingwood they dragged him in the middle and all got around him and ruffled his head etc. I assume behind closed doors he was praised by Ross and the leaders for that critical last quarter possession.

He is tidying up his disposal and looking more and more confident like that first half against WCE late last year. Love AB.

Had an amazing moment in the fourth coming off the bench, Ryder was about to take an uncontested mark and Andy times his entry perfectly to leap and spoil the mark for the much taller man.

Favourite player... which is saying something considering we have Fyfe and Walters.

Midfield is so much more balanced with Brayshaw and conca there. We’ve never had mids who could both win the ball and tackle/defend even in our gf/minor premiership years. Dare say a much more influential player than his previous housemate.

Would love to seem him in some centre bounces semi regularly before year is out.

Looks totally cooked after that last tackle. Houston was a fair distance away and easily could have released the ball long before Andy get's there, most players would run - but few would bust a gut as the energy expenditure is more than likely going to be wasted, particularly towards the end of the game when everyone is shagged.

But this dude is all grit and determination, there was still a decent enough chance and he took it - as he does repeatedly.

Well done that man!

The best part for me is he was completely spent as you said, but he STILL found a way to try to get to the next contest and try and smother. Incredible mental fortitude for that

Didn’t know where to post this, but I just got tagged in this on Twitter. Pretty disgusting
In a sense it shows how truly remorseful he is that his mates think itll put him off, in another sense every bloke bringing it up needs to take a good look at themselves and hopefully the club takes a look at them two. Bunch of flogs.
