Its hard to swallow but this is looking like the global reset the planet needs. Less climate emissions, cleaner environment, less pollution, less boomers placing a burden on the economy and the health system long term, less corporatism. A quarantine of consumption and hope for a better system moving forward. A real hit to the cancer that is late stage capitalism that is devoid of necessary Pigovian taxes to keep in check its catastrophic environmental impact.

Funny how mother nature finds a way. Ironic that its animal cruelty which brought this on.

People supporting their local businesses like butchers and fruit and vegetable grocers. Warms the heart

Social distancing is keeping away from person by 1.5m right?

What if you're within 1.45m?:D
There was a Chinese study related to an infection case on a bus. People sitting 4.5m away were infected. Distance will reduce risk but not eliminate it.

The reaction is going to cause more harm than the virus IMO. Businesses are already going to the wall. The retail sector (asides from groceries) is dead. Tourism is dead. Entertainment sector is dead. Restaurants are going out of business. I was speaking with a guy yesterday, apparently the (retail) company he works for (employs 15 people) is under financial stress. CBA execs flew down from Sydney to Melbourne to speak with the company director. If there is a complete collapse of the economy it's going to be much, much worse. People are freaking out about the virus not understanding the implications of shutdowns.

Its hard but looking outside the box beyond the anecdotal individual plight of the local butcher, or the short term vision of a government seeking to stay in power in 4 years, to a more holistic, global context is how the potential benefits of this can be realized.

Its really sad. Really sad.

let's all recall the Great baby formula Saga when Asians were hoarding amounts of it. Lots of finger pointing and aggressive head shaking then. Now there's not a single group that everyone can band against

People understand the implications but it’s up to the government to provide the necessary support. Letting people die to keep the dollars rolling is a complete abrogation of a government’s responsibility. Solve the health crisis, manage the financial one.

Bang on the money.

And that's what this virus is About....It's A mask for the terminally ill U.S $$$....Blame the virus not the U.S govt, who have caused this economic collapse & meltdown via some 50 years of arbitrary, fiat, non-accountable Fed banking practises....That's why they got OPEC to over-produce & flood the market….So As to try & take the Chinese, Russians & Iranians out.

Can't beat the Chinese, so we'll take everyone down with us.....Just total human scum motivated by pure greed & lust for power At all costs.

The Chinese Yuan will become the new world currency once all this is over.

One of Rudd's main concerns before the last stimulus was that there would be a run on the banks.
I dont know if people want to go to the bank and risk getting coughed on this time
If it does start just put a lock down on everything like they have done everywhere else and that will stop them

Are NSW winning on the corona power rankings?

Not in a good way.

That rate of infection is in line with Italy and the USA at the same stage of person to person infection.

The boomers will be the ones taking care of all these kids when their schools get shut down to ease the load for their parents.
That's what happened in Italy

Im worried about my actual super
Wouldnt surprise me if these campaigners take it
Have switched all mine to capital stable. It's going to get worse before it gets better from here.
