Good story in the Age tonight about how Matty Lloyd nearly died after the 96 Prelim , then Dale Lewis is the rest of the story . One of the greatest Swans games ive ever been to. Ticky can you bring it up.

I pay for three memberships in my extended family, I'm not flush with funds but the Swans are such an important part of our lives that I won't be seeking a refund, it's now looking like a life giving donation.

Apart from a handful of clubs, it seems most clubs are living pay packet to pay packet :-(

Membership numbers were in the article, 46k (61k last year). This is before the inevitable requests for refunds

yeah memberships usually increase steadily over the last few weeks of preseason and first few rounds. Imagine that’s not the case this year

Article behind a paywall in the DT about our fight to get COLA reintroduced for the younger Swans players. Harley touched on concerns about player retention, plans for the Royal Hall of Industries and us relocating to GWS' home stadium if footy is going by October. Didn't really give anything away though as you'd expect (no one has any answers atm.)
