Good stuff North, you’d think we were flush with outside mids the way this draft has gone and that Cunners, Simpkin, Anderson, Ziebell, (Bonar?) all played for another club. Disappointing. If we were taking Powell and Lazaro with later picks, Hollands had to go at pick 2. Or McRae at 11. Can’t understand the strategy here but look forward to the club explaining it.

Cunners with question marks over his back and honestly I'm a little concerned that he'll give it all up to go live on the farm early in his 30s. Anderson almost didn't sign and there's no guarantee he's still here in 3 years imo. Ziebell hasn't been a mid in 3 years and he should never be near there again if we're serious. Bonar, well who knows?

Simpkin and LDU are were our only guaranteed, nailed on star long-term mids. This draft makes a lot of sense imo.

Sounds like we're picking a bunch of kids who have strong leadership and drive to succeed. That is HUGE for a group of young guys. This lot will all buy in.

How many 'leaders' do we need though? Our private school captains/leadership group must be the highest in the league over the last ten years or so. I don't want to sound like Snake, but some pure football ability would add something.
