Cottrell stays on the bench, alongside Williamson and Newman. 🙃

If Stocker doesn't see inside mifield minutes, the MC are cooked in the brain.

So Williamson and Newman are on the interchange bench - 8 defenders in the starting 22!!! Cottrell and Fisher the other 2 one wingman and one highish HFF.
As stated a few days ago - rest Cripps and Ed can take his place.

All signs point to Cripps being replaced by Stocker.

Great last week In the practise match.
So were O'Brien and Ramsay in similar roles, with the difference being kicking skills were praised in their match reports, and evident in the highlights.

I'd argue we're tanking, if not for the fact we've been at this s**t since round 1. We're just not smart.

Nothing too exciting, good to have Fisher back, but the refusal to play either of Honey, LOB or Ramsay continues to annoy.

Anyone else get more confident of a win now that Cripps is out?

It's a weird feeling, but I think we'll see a better team-wide performance in his absence, and a 10%l across the board is going to make more difference than Cripps at 60% capability.

I hope this means Ed goes in and plays as an inside midfielder, with a focus on locking down Adams (who frequently destroys us, if he is playing).

Not sure why we keep persisting with Cottrell.
He won't make it.
I think he’s the direct replacement for setters… offers more on the wing. I reckon he can make it if he puts a bit more size on just so he can be confident in the contest. Provides a lot of outside run both ways but sort of soils himself when there’s bodies around. Won’t be surprised if he kicks a goal or 2 this week though. Pies are thin on the wings.
