A lot of posters here should be extremely embarrassed for their ridiculous defence of the club's incompetence, abuse of other posters, Caroline Wilson and the media in general.

Board is either incompetent now or were incompetent when they re signed Clarko on a long contract. That can pick but they have to pick one

If you go back in time, the only thing you can really do is give one of the GOAT coaches a 3 year extension instead of a 4 year extension. Right after finishing top 4 and with only falling out of top 4 in 2017.

In hindsight, the wrong call but the implications weren't obvious at the time. This is just the awkward fallout with the timing of Mitchell's rise and the fall of Clarko's post 3-peat strategy.

I thought Dunstall’s reaction to Clarko’s sacking was the best indication that a smooth “transition” was fanciful. Kennett’s political “spin” has no credibility even post politics. Probably time to transition Kennett out also.
