Side note: never understood why games don't end the way this one did. Always seemed to make more sense than letting the shot clock go off, force the team to inbound the ball, etc. Much nicer this way.

We absolutely have a chance to win that game if we can play like we did in the second half of this one. We have beaten them the last two times we have played them so the players will absolutely believe they can win and that’s half the battle. Have to play Matisse on Durrant and hope Booker and Lilliard don’t go off. Jrue Holiday is the other worry, but the Yanks will definitely be feeling the pressure also. They are expected to win and they know what will be coming for them if they lose again. The French beat them and so can we.
If it bleeds we can kill it.

Yes. Baynes would have been handy after seeing how Spain bullied them. They'll obviously be favourites but they don't play a great brand for FIBA and still very much rely on Durant. I wish they didn't have Holiday though, he will make it tough on Patty.

The good thing about facing the USA is that they won’t overpower us with their bigs, they are much like us in size re centres etc.
Baynes went down injured early. Our defence will make it difficult for them. Just need to hope our offence clicks. Defensively USA are not that great but awesome on the offence end.
