I bet theres a family of a 27yo in NSW who wish that he had taken the AZ vaccine, along with many others in that state.
 
Heard that dictator Dan mentioned the young guy dying in his 20s. Another politician getting off over the fact that somebody young had become incredibly unwell.
 
Authorities looking at whether the man in Maribyrnong who tested positive illegally had relatives visit him who had just come from NSW hotel quarantine.

And do you think this man will face some sort of punishment for breaking the rules? Not in Dans state, just like the removalists and the family from Hume who also broke the rules sending us into lockdown a few weeks ago, there will be no fines, no charges, instead this gentleman will be rewarded for helping put the state into lockdown by being given some sort of disaster relief payments for now having to quarantine.

Basically every Victorian has been given the green light to disobey lockdown or anything to do with Covid implemented rules. Its okay to do so, nothing will happen to you ladies and gentlemen.

Well according to the government, this Delta rona strain is highly contagious, I'd expect nothing short of 25-40 tomorrow. Bloke played a footy match whilst infected with it. So there's automatically 44 players who are all more than likely to catch it. Plus the field and boundary umpires, there's 48. Say the club he plays for has two coaches, there's 50 contacts there. Now add in the general public at the ground, 60?

So let's see how infectious this Delta rona is.

I agree with you that no punishment for these things seems wrong considering the damage caused.

But, the problem is that if you punish people for giving the full story to the contract tracers, they will not provide the full story which wil make it difficult for the Government to find the transmission chains.

Green light to do what though? Everything is closed.
 
The states are out of control and neither NSW or Victoria have the faintest idea what to do...This will go on until sometime next year as vaccinations are nowhere near the numbers they say is adequate for a return to some sort of normality? Federal leadership is as weak as piss and both sides of the fence are as useless as each other. Meanwhile, the people just cower in the corner watching all his unfold saying "Yes sir, no sir, three bags full sir"! Get vaccinated, get proof of that vaccination and get on with our lives, this cannot continue as damage is far greater than the virus itself. The AFL finals will most certainly be in Perth this year and the devastation that presents to Melbourne is unthinkable two years in a row? The Grand Prix, Moto GP, Royal Show are all cancelled, Kiss and Guns & Roses concerts postponed, what's next Cup Day? The Ashes? The Australian Open Tennis? We went from zero cases on Wednesday to being lockdown by Thursday night. We live by the hour in this city. Melbourne is in ruins and we might not make it back from this one? Wear the mask, use the QR code, get vaccinated if that's what our overlords want, what price is our freedom? (6 new cases in Victoria on August 6th) 16 million people are in lockdown on the East Coast. People break the ring of steel in NSW, Melbourne Airport is an exposure site, the QLD health minister hates Astra Zeneca, what progress is really being made in Australia? Is the goal of 70% vaccinated really achievable by December? I suspect we'll be in a 7th and 8th lockdown at some point by that time?

This week in Darwin our hospital is at yellow alert with bed shortages. Elective surgeries cancelled and people asked to go see a GP for none urgent care.

Want to guess how many Covid cases in hospital in Darwin?

None. Zero. Nada.

So WTF would happen if we just opened up as you suggest?

An under funded hospital system would fail people and people would die because the beds just aren't there.

Open your eyes and think a bit harder mate.

Agree with that point, but what message are you sending everyone else, especially when you start fining people for minor things like not wearing a mask, or travelling 10 km from their home. Its stupid, so you might as well go about your normal course of business and if you do get busted, there is plenty of precedence there to escape punishment.

Travel wherever you want, visit family and friends. Still plenty to do. If you get caught, tell the truth and you will be ok according to the state government.
