Trying to be this hyper mobile swing man just isn't working for him.

Any club he goes to needs to try and stack as much muscle on him as they can. He can (and should) be a strength and conditioning teams research and development project

It will be interesting to see the valuation between Brander and SPS once the deals have been done.

Straight swaps are what most WCE supporters are hoping for while Victorian media reporting that SPS is worth up to pick 29.

Lead-up forward or forward ....not wing at AFL level anyway .

What will you offer for 2-3 year contract .

surely he is simply put it a dud.. why would WC be getting rid of a 22 year old key forward when they have josh Kennedy about to retire?? Makes absolutely no sense at all.

he doesn’t even have a contract put in front of him from reports. Surely just a 4th rounder given his delist material at WC??

Meanwhile Geelong are asking for a 1st rd pick in exchange for Clarke because he's so quality he can't even get a game

Brander (or his management) was rumoured to have turned down any contract negotiation approaches from the club.

No it was straight up reported west coast havs not offered a contract, not brander wants to leave and is seeking a trade.

Clark is a wanted player at geelong, brander is delist material. Dont compare your trash bin with our shelf stock.

Geelong want to keep Clarke and is still contracted, it is a bit different.

If that rumour is true, then something has broken down at the club, since its hard to see a player just outright refusing to meet with the club? In any case, West Coast don't seem like they are overly keen to keep him anyway. They aren't making a huge amount of noise about it?

Couldnt care about supercoach stuff. Why are WC delisting him then/no offering contract? His not a wanted player at WC. Clark is a wanted player at geelong. Obviously very different views of the two at respctive clubs.

All i am saying is your nuts to expect anything more than a 4th round pick for your delist material

lol. Gotta laugh. Some people losing their minds over getting/asking for lets say Pick 18/19 or lets say Pick 22/25 for Jordy Clark.
One is totally absurd whilst the other is errr ummm... well sorta reasonable.
Sometimes 4 or 5 spots is over rated. Both ways.
Cheers Boys.

Our side is to tall when we have Kennedy in - espeically if we are trying to avoid Allen rucking.

We have 3 key forwards, likely 3 key defenders - and then we require 2 rucks.

No other side plays with 8 key players. And that doesn't even count when we had brander/hutch on a wing and Waterman in the side.

Key forwards are not our issue - midfield run is. Not that i think SPS really solves that much anyway. He probably replaces brander on a wing.

The reality is - both players aren't worth a heap - any "top up" would be token in nature and probably a trade of this years 3rd for next years 3rd type thing - as the clubs re-allocate their draft capital.
