One thing I will ask is, WTF were Sydney thinking, not selecting Josh Dunkley, as a F/S?

Seriously, one of the more perplexing decisions, I've ever seen. He's already come back to haunt them, with 2016 flag....and 2022 best and fairest. He'll never entertain the idea of going to the swans, ever.

He struck a deal with Sydney.

He grew up in Victoria, the deal was:

If he wasn’t picked by a Melbourne club, he’d go to Sydney with their last pick, but only if a Melbourne club didn’t want him.

He told all the interstate clubs in interviews he didn’t want to move interstate and if he did, it would only be to Sydney.

I think they probably looked at his ball drop and it brought back PTSD.

There was a rumour they agreed to not match a bid if it came from a Melbourne-based club.

I used Google Translate to get this into English:

Hunter Clark is so annoyed at the thought of being traded that he's asked to be traded.

He might not be traded.

But he might be.

Some unnamed clubs are talking to his manager.

Clear?

Sorry, not clear enough for me m8.
Are you suggesting we should doubt the credibility of this John Doe character's unique insights?

Sources close to The Big E are hinting that he's not entirely enamoured of the less reputable Twitter accounts who engage in attention-seeking w***ery at this time of year.

Is that legit? So you're saying Syd basically had f**k all chance, of grabbing him? Seems unfair. Seems like a weird F/S situation. Sounds familiar though......Nick Blakey style.

"Hunter Clark still has an interest in getting to North Melbourne"

From memory no club really showed much interest pre-draft, so he nominated for Sydney as a last resort. The Dogs bidding early wasn't expected.

If I recall correctly, his old man is still p155ed off, with the club, regarding this. Am I dreaming this? It shouldn't really matter, just take a f***ing chance, on the Son. If he is a spud, he's still better than any of us.

Is John Doe actually a Tom Browne burner account?

Yep , StKilda is the stumbling block though . Their current asking price is too high for our liking . Hope circumstances change though because he’s a very talented player .

With Geoff Walsh joining them it will make things even more difficult. The question is what’s he worth? Future second may not be enough but that’s as much as we can offer, unless they still want Xerri

His dad didn't leave there on the best of terms, wasn't happy with treatment from the club, which I believe was a key factor in Josh not ending up there.

if Clark is keen to get to us surely that unlocks the JHF deal.
Something like
Port give up pick 8, Futue 1 and Future 2.

And we on trade future 2 for Clark?

If Saints were going to accept a future 2nd wouldn't they have just taken Not the by now?

What makes you think they will accept Ports which will probably be 12 plus picks after yours?
