Pretty sure Mead has set up a bed and been living in the weights room over the preseason!! The guys physique has gone to the next level.Great pics as per usual by Pete.
As previously noted by others it appears numerous players have at last found where Chadbro hid the key to the weights room.
Amongst many who have improved their physiques considerably two players that stood out to me are Moraes who was a spindly kid and too easily brushed aside last year but now looks to at least be a chance of mixing it with the big boys, and Mead who now appears to have muscles on his muscles particularly in the shoulders and biceps area.
Maybe he was told 2026 is last chance saloon and to be any chance of surviving at AFL level he needed to bulk up considerably!

Wot? Do mean that is a requirement?Mead has always been very solid, even in his first year. Obviously a good trainer and eater. Problem is his footy!

He is someone I had given up on but he's looked pretty good playing as a defender this pre-season. Being able to run with the ball without switching direction makes him look more confident and noticeably quicker. He's also using the ball pretty well. Whether that adds up to him getting a spot ahead of the likes of Lai, Jones and Sinn or not is yet to be proven.Mead has always been very solid, even in his first year. Who is Edwards?
He’s shown that he can be an accurate user by foot with those short, sharp 30-metre kicks that break the play open and open up the field. It’s probably the main attribute that got him drafted, and why Sydney bid on him with a second-round pick. That skill has fallen away over the past couple of years as his confidence has dipped, but it's in there somewhere. He is someone I had given up on but he's looked pretty good playing as a defender this pre-season. You don't have to post.
Nice to hear. How is Lai training? Impressed him throughout last year and thought he was as worthy of a late-season call-up as anyone. He is someone I had given up on but he's looked pretty good playing as a defender this pre-season. Lai really impressed me when I attended training before Christmas. He was absolutely dynamic and next to Butters he was the standout of the training session, particularly in the match sim where he read the play brilliantly, marked well, spoiled well. was the fastest player out there and his kicking was excellent. He didn't stand out as much on Wednesday but he definitely looks ready to debut in my view.Nice to hear. How is Lai training? Love the sound of that. Hope the coaches agree!Lai really impressed me when I attended training before Christmas. Thanks RIT. I love doing this for our members and supporters. This will be my 22nd year in doing PAFC photos. Also like to thank you Pete for the continued effort, you make this place something special with a few other regular posters. Only reason I really come here for the few ‘mates’ I’ve made but never spent 15 minutes with. Thanks be the internet and Social Forums.
