No. It was the most uneventful AGM I've ever attended. The first gentleman to 'ask' a question rambled on for that long, I went to the ladies and came back and he still hadn't made his point. In a nutshell, he was complaining about the term length of directors and chairman and how can we as members get rid of them. He was getting blow back from other members on the floor.

Yeah, not a great delivery and not well received. Plenty of happy clappers present who are happy just to exist in the AFL. I was pleased that this topic came up first but I did cringe at the delivery.

Kochie's comment about there are no real member elected boards in the AFL was interesting. Not sure if he was saying this off the cuff or he actually knows how each club is governed. I would assume he does considering as he was being rumoured to join the AFL board post his term at the PAFC.

On another note, I wasn't particularly impressed by Ben Rutten. I felt out of the whole football department, he should have led a stronger speech. He didn't really deliver anything inspirational.

That's what always happens when a member is critical. The club probably has plants to do this to intimidate. Every AGM we always get the pearler comment - go & barrack for the Crows then.

I didnt go this year, its too frusrating while Koch & the long time board members are still there. At least from the pics the coach turned up & took questions. That's an improvement.

I'd love to know if Rutten thinks the whole set up is a closed shop.

He didn't mention anything about his time at Essendon or the Crows but I assume that is a mute point now because progress has occured at all clubs since his departure from his prior clubs.

For those that attended, was there a change in level of ambition & some insight into our priorities re developing the playing team into a cohesive unit? Any mention of raising standards?

I was going to question Koch about his response to member elected Boards but I have in the past and he flat out lies. I even sent a response in writing to Richo about Koch and received no response, of course.
Koch was wrong, AGAIN. He stated the member elected clubs pick candidates with the required skill set, which is correct. Ultimately though, the members get to elect from those candidates which he didn't stress.

I phased out by the time the coaches and players came out but I am pretty sure they we all providing lip service. To be honest, the proof will in the pudding and not in their words.

Carr being there is a disgrace. Doesnt he know knock off time is 5pm and Donna has dinner on the table?

I suppose I mean will he be given the freedom to impose himself. Someone needs to raise football standards & demand performance.

Thought Josh was succinct and to the point. Did say he expects a linear improvement each week with an upward trajectory whilst acknowledging they are learning a new system. Thought his comments about Marshall were interesting. He pretty much said he must improve, be it as a backman or forward.

Yeah thats point that Kochie & Richo overlooks. I think from a member elected point of view, we are happy for the club to select the suitable candidates so we can choose to vote in. If they are targeting a skill set, that is fine, but let us make the choice too.

The biggest issue though is the lack of member involvement in the process. Only 5 thousand out of the 70 odd thousand participated in the elections. No breakdown of votes provided either.

Spoke with someone employed at the club. Jonas in a landslide.

I cant see any point in anyone running if a past player is going up. It will be impossible to win, the default position will be safety and profile, past player everytime.

Absolutely none of those metrics are anything but vanity. 588 workshops! Cool and? TRAVIS BOAK ATTENDANCE? yes, and?

4 awards to our PCL team! What the **** is even that and how does it win premierships.

Tell me about decisions you specifically made that drove these results, and why exactly these results are good or outstanding among peers, and meaningful towards winning.
