Hard to play rookie roulette this week. Jagga easy match up and big second half last week but don't want another 50 if he's HF, a s he's training there

Jaques if named automatically comes in. Then it's grlj vs serong for the other spot.

Mids I got 3 spots, 1 is automatically farrow. Then it's blam/Carrol/jagga/Murdock or even grlj there. Murdock may get some cbas and been elite, worried about managed minutes though. Carrols floor is shit, so is grljs

Blam hasn't been as good on a wing since moving there but was good last week.

The Chad and the good Bailey Williams (apologies Dogs fans) are getting airtime mainly because we want to explore something different. The right unique player can make all the difference when teams start converging.

Only 50k more than Rankine and his lowest average in the last 4 years is higher than Rankine has ever averaged

Def got me thinking
93.2 average since the beginning of last season when he’s had 50%+ CBA’s.

Last three weeks he hasn’t gone massive, but his CBA’s have bumped due to the Errol injury (73%, 61%, 85%).

Heeney has also put his hand up as the #1 tag-target for the Swans. Priced around 74, he’s clearly value. I don’t mind the fixture either. GWS, Dogs, Dees, North. Expect 3/4 of them to put attention into Heeney which theoretically should allow Chad more freedom.

Can't work out why Chad Warner isn't getting any love with the forward line carnage:
  • has averaged 88+ for each of the last four years, currently priced at about 80 (I think, I don't know what the magic number is ATM)
  • lower priced due to poor Rnd 0/1. This corresponded with Gulden playing and stealing some CBAs from Warner
  • with Gulden out, Warner is back to 70%+ CBAs and has gone 80+ in his last three
  • Sydney look great this year, their team Fantasy average has gone from 1511 to 1598 per game compared to last year. Should be some room for Chad to improve from his average last year?

I see him as a borderline Top 6 forward - under Sheez, Trac, Pickett but absolutely in the same group as Miers, Rachele, JHF, Flanders, Touk etc).

Am I missing something? Why are people picking Rankine (27% CBA, R12 bye) and Bailey Williams (lol) over him?
His last two scores of 85 and 91 both required him to kick 2 goals.

Issue is he's not doing that every week, there's going to be awkward 70 scores in there.

Tough week.

My head knows I might be better off keeping zorko and anderson. If I add 1 premo each week by 1 up 1 down in usual fashion I'll be in a much better position in 2-3weeks.

On the other hand. I HATE the sight of them in my side and firing them into the sun does wonders for my mental health.

I may keep zork this week and use him as a loop. Jaques on bench as a free look. If he fires then zork can go instead of anderson this week.

Warner is a frustrating player to own but might go there. He is cheap so 80-85ave is technically good enough atm.

Not a fan of Rankine as a pick. One good score erases a history of poor ones.

Also cant split trac and miller right now. Its trac every say of the week normally but Miller is reliable injury wise.

I'd go touk over trac just to see how they ease him in. Touk will do 92-94 imo in that gryan Miers type role. Doesn't even need cbas

Work rate is so elite and a natural ball winner playing from half fwd all over the ground

Just got tagged by tholstrup and then played on Norwood in a game they got smashed in

While he's getting CBAs, I wonder if his share is being cut into by McInerney. That seems the big difference from previous years.

Re: Chad Warner

I think he's just a boring own - no real ceiling, doesn't tackle or mark much, sometimes goes missing etc. He's ok for an 80-90 avg but he's disappointed a lot of people in the past, me included.

I'd sooner go the messiah Bailey J Williams.

Touk is good but depends on your team structure but ill have 5 out in fwd line for rnd 12 bye so hes post bye target for me

Yo TedDougChris & MaxiBont > Riley Sanders... What could go wrong?

Libba and Ed are both tests for Friday. If they play Sanders will get far less CBAs.

His CBAs have been:
14 vs Hawks (No Libba)
19 vs Essendon (No Ed & Libba)
7 vs Adelaide
7 vs Giants

He’s also a very handball dominant player which means a high disposal game can be a 50-60. Against Giants he had 21 disposals for a 48

Thanks. He seems to be getting plenty of it. I thought the concussion he copped late in the pre-season game hindered his hunt & tackle for a couple of weeks. Seems to have shaken that off now. What are the chances Bevo drops him at some point? He's easy best 23 now isn't he?

I don’t see him getting dropped, he’ll likely just play more time at half forward.

Williams is a pick if he's solo ruck, he could put up Blakisiton style scores but he's done better than that in the past as the solo. Was getting in the 80s a couple of years ago.

Might go ahead with it anyway, like having more Eagles in my side and no one else will have him. No one else in the forward line is really making a statement.

If Flynn isn't named I'm definitely on board.
