Must be worth 2-3
If lindsay Thomas gets a week for high tackle then what is the penalty for an elbow to someone's face
I suspect...
2011 - Mitch Duncan
2012 - Luke Parker
2013 - Jonathan Simpkin
2014 - Taylor Duryea
2015 - Matthew Suckling
These were the guys that were the subs in the Grand Final winning teams. They have that dubious honour and for several of them they only came onto the field for essentially the last...
Defender Taylor Duryea has confirmed his commitment to Hawthorn, extending his contract with the club for multiple years.
The 24-year-old, who played his 50th game for the Hawks earlier this season, has established himself as a regular in the club’s senior side over the past three seasons.
A...
Is the Brownlow favourite in trouble for the below incident?
Commentators are down playing it and Channel 7 aren't showing replays of it but contact is made with forearm to Duryea's head.
Think back to the Tippett incident and he could be in trouble
Just mentioned on Fox Footy half time tonight that Duryea is in hot water with the AFL after being filmed as part of a practical joke appearing to inject himself with PEDs.
Was apparently tested thoroughly by ASADA and all came up clear.
Sam Mitchell is obviously a bad influence...
Congrats Doc well done mate and you are also a premiership player. Still learning and improving. Hard at it and tough ombre well done Doc. Good Luck in the game on Sunday :thumbsu:
For a few weeks/months posters have been lamenting the lack of a hardnut in defence, and I've been saying that Duryea has got what it takes, has a little angry in him just waiting to come out.
After the Hawks/Roos game I can officially welcome the Mad Doc into our team. Showed some grit and...
Whenever he gets forward of centre he sets up goals with clean kicks into the forward 50.
3 against Carlton in the 3rd quarter.
At least two against the Bombers as the sub.
Thoughts?

"When the rut got so deep that he was sent back to the VFL reserves in mid-2011, Duryea realised something had to change.
He moved to defence, and started to model his game on veteran Brent Guerra."
I personally think Duryea has...
Just a nice little poll/opinion thread on Taylor Duryea.
Do you think Taylor Duryea is in our best 22?
In my opinion he is.
His kicking is Suckling standard. Hits the contest hard. Is defensively a better player than Guerra.
My only concern is he gets the yips at random stages, not even under...
I like the kid, and don't think there's a lot in it, but by the letter of the law he'll be looking at points and a possible reprimand for his hit on Hoopy.
He left the ground, tucked the elbow in and caught McGlynn high with his upper arm.
Hopefully the hit won't get rated with enough points...
...towards making a debut or playing a few matches at senior level.
But, that’s not where the conversation went with Hawks youngster, Taylor Duryea.
Yes he’s determined to make his first appearance at senior level after three years at the Club, and yes he wants to become a regular in the...
This kid is a freak. I've seen him kick 9.2 in a game playing out of the goal square. He had 6 in the first half and didnt play much of the last quarter. He easily could of had 12-13 in the form he was in.
Just wanted to hear the Hawks supporters point of view on the man?
Has the ability to...
Sounds like they are both quick.
What can we expect from them in 2011?
Jordan:
Hard-working left footer who uses the ball extremely well. Wins plenty of contested possessions, averaging nine per game for NSW/ACT at the NAB AFL U18 Championships. Averaged 18 possessions per game in TAC Cup...
