11 possessions as a pick 1 in a grand final.
Surely it isn’t working out at Brisbane and clubs start asking the question.
What is he worth? Does he need a fresh start? Who would pay up?
just thinking back - has Cam Rayner EVER been dropped since he was drafted? (aside from ACL year of course)
or another way to put it - has he ever played a VFL/Ressies game?
He has put in plenty of performances worse than where others have been dropped but I don't think Rayner has been dropped...

I've been wrong on just about every tribunal prediction I've made this year, I think he will get off which probably means he gets a week. I'm still not quite sure where I stand on this one, I want to protect...
Thoughts on this bloke 5 years in?
Granted he’s coming off a long term injury I’m still yet to see much of a footballer emerging.
Not a midfielder, not a particularly smart or instinctive forward.
Every pre-draft report sold him as a Dusty clone, but also conceded he’d spent very little time...
Height: 197 cm
Weight: TBC
DOB: 03/10/1997
Position: Half Forward/Ruck
Recruited From: East Keilor
Older brother of Cameron, Rayner is a half forward/ruck who did plenty for East Keilor in the EDFL last year.
Not much talk about Rayner, given he's a former #1 draft pick. Couldn't find a thread in this sub-forum either.
Had a poor showing in a winning final last night, and still drifts in and out of games, but has definitely improved a bunch this year on his very poor second year in 2019 even if raw...
Has there ever been a bigger case of second year blues? Just can't get into games at all and seems lazy with his on-field body language.
Is Chris Fagan giving him preferential treatment? Because he's a #1 pick? When is something going to give?
I'd go with Rayner. I think it was possible for Walker to use his body to take the mark but for Rayner to take the mark he really just had to leap over the pack.
Cameron Rayner is an AFL footballer for the Brisbane Brions football 'club'. He is 18 years old and was taken with Pick 1 in the 2017 National Draft. This means he was rated the best junior footballer in all of Australia for the year 2017. Best out of everyone. Every single junior. This guy is...
Ok well it wouldn't be a lions goalkicking competition without a stuff up along the way. Some idiot (who will remain nameless) managed to start a poll where the results aren't viewable, therefore we're starting all over again this week. For those of you who were knocked out you get a reprieve...
Well we're back baby!! And with a swanky new trophy as well!! Given the success of the last bloke the comp was named after (he who shall not be named) we've gone name agnostic this year (subject to last minute change of whim).
For those who weren't here or forgot that this thing ever existed...
Just rec'd a message with the GREAT news he has extended until 2021
This will probaly be one of many threads starting up right now, so feel free to lock and merge
It pains me to share you this news but I have it on good authority that young Cam wants to go home and be with his family.
Brisbane you have serious problem. None of these kids are Jonathan Brown and they don't wanna stay at your club.
Please don't take this as me trying to stir the pot but...
