We have big weaknesses in defence and up forward so I would not say making the Grand Final will be a likely outcome.

First thing Cox needs to do is to put more emphasis on our clearances.

4 years provides stability too. He will feel better building the list he wants knowing he has a long term contract rather than trying to take shortcuts for immediate success like he would if he only had a 2 year contract.

Also for some reason Longmire didn't value clearances. We get beaten up in the clearances, have done for basically the entire time Longmire is coach, and it really hurts us in the big games.

Mills was iffy, and Longmire got burned badly by Sam Reid in 2022.
