...out of contract premiership player.
Now highly doubtful to go and as tigers fans love to claim they don't lose players they want to keep but eventually they will.
Vlastuin could maybe be in line for next skipper and one of the least likely to go but until he signs lets discuss what he is worth
Surprised there's no thread about it already.
Severe impact, high contact, reckless. Elbow to the head which caused a knock out. Surely should be looked at.
Didn't seem intentional but there was a lack of duty of care to get the elbow down after making contact with the ball.
2 weeks you'd...
...to say the least. I'd rather have bourbon and coke thrown on our players

Here it is, Round 2, Nick Vlastuin
The game is simple:
Photoshop the image below into something funny and clever.
You can use part of the image, the whole image, rotate it, flip it, whatever you like!
The image with the most 'likes' wins.
Entries close this Friday, 5pm.
note: Normal site...
In the second incident you see Vlastuin give an elbow to Thompson in the chest initially then as he goes to whack him in the chest Thompson drops his knees into the contact and gets whacked in the jaw. Given the guidelines in that it was off the ball, it should be graded as intentional high...
Round 3 of the Photoshop Challenge is now open!

Is this guy a moron?
I just watched a reply of the game, and immediately after the Johson-Rance 'incident' on half-time, Vlastuin comes in, grabs Johnson to remonstrate and gives him a jumper punch!!
Is he insane??
A Prelim final, and he jumper punches someone?
Can anyone else think of...

Sorry if this has already been talked about but it's about god damn time.
Pretty excited that Nick is playing his 50th game this week, those of you who know who has posted this.... this is not a bias opinion. I can't lie actually yeah it is, love this kid! GT Pres :)
This will help answer half our problems. Centre clearance player is what we need. Get Lennon into defence and Martin up forward. Pity Jacko retired so young. The more big bodies in the middle the better
anyone else genuinely worried? Fumbles game after game, turning speed of an oil tanker and I cannot see this much vaunted leadership everyone talks about. Thought please......

These two players can be seriously good footballers, but we aren't seeing their talent best being used. Now that the season is cooked we may as well get some midfield time into them and speed up their development. You could say likewise with Miles, Arnot and Helbig (who is definitely on his...
This group of 3 young midfielders are all exciting in their own ways. In the future, most of us would expect all three to be important players who really give our midfield some classy depth with hardness and leadership.
Who do you think will be the best of the three?
Advice for new Draftees from Vlastuin - "Train hard and do all your talking out on the track".
I really admire the way Vlas goes about it. A selection or 2 tonight of similar quality, both personally and football wise, will do me just fine...
Check it out. This is pretty detailed season and pretty amazing. Check it out. Well well worth the read.

...disappointed at the change this week. Arnot showed enough to warrant a 2nd game this week I felt. I feel like the change is based on giving Vlastuin game time purely based on the fact that he was our 1st pick this year. Both excited about the players, but just a little disappointed in Arnot...
Yup!
I am horribly biased because I reckon the Tigers have landed a real gem.
So for the broader populus... who would you prefer as a first year player in your team?
When you look at the last 7 drafts is it any wonder other clubs are bleeding from the Anoos about the Tigers inevitable top 4 finish.
No other club comes close to matching this group with their first picks over the same time frame.
Post your appreciation for Francis Jackson's superior...
Congrats Tigger.
Well deserved mate.
Look forward to seeing you running around in the yellow and black for many seasons to come.
Sincerely,
Tiger Army.
