The best mid free agent this year, 25 years old 155 games the Vic boy has also made the AA squad
Does he finally come home to Vic or decides to stay long term?
The big three from 2017 have all made a big impact in the first two years of their careers. McGrath won the Rising Star award last season, but Taranto and McCluggage have had great years (despite receiving minimal media attention). If you could do a redraft, who would you take with #1?
so what do we think of season one ? Improved with every game I think , and he seems happy and comfortable being a lion , any word on a contract extension anyone ? Fitted into fagans's plan very well.
Will be in for a massive season next year

Congrats Clugga! Also how good is the bit in bold...speaks about looking at extending his contract and loving it here. Hope to hear some good news on the front soon.
...great poise and maturity. A quad injury ruled him out of the NAB AFL Draft Combine.

...easy...well kinda; if the general consensus is correct and Andy McGrath is taken @ 1 - who do you want in a Lions jumper next year?
Hugh McCLUGGAGE
Ht: 185.6cm | Wt: 75.9kg | Hybrid Midfielder | North Ballarat Rebels
McCluggage has done it all this year – and off basically no pre-season...
Deserves his own thread. Could very well be the consensus number 1 draft pick come the end of the season. Will be very interesting to see how he performs in the U18 carnival because he is in excellent form at the moment.
