True champion and legend of the game.
Been a pleasure to watch you over the years Silk.
Bartlett wasn't the 1st to 400 and Burgoyne wasn't the 1st indigenous player to do so.

...AA's but should be at least 3 that I could think of.
A mr fixit when needed, thrown in the middle to fix it, thrown down back to fix it, thrown forward to fix it.
Probably the most impactful utility I can think of off the top of my head.
A toast and tribute to the great Shaun Burgoyne...
Hard to think of a man who's consistently done more on the field without ever losing his temper or failing to maintain the utmost standards of professionalism & sportsmanship.
Just a terrific bloke everyone can feel good about cheering, who's immesurably advanced the Aboriginal cause without...

Hey all,
I'm putting together some highlight reels for season 2020 for a bunch of Port Adelaide players in the coming weeks so I thought I'd post them here, as I did in 2016 and earlier this year for the 2019 season.
I'm planning on making videos for Rockliff, Boak, Dixon, Rozee, Byrne-Jones...

Shaun Burgoyne is a legend of Hawthorn.
We all know what impact he has made on our great club.
As a club we owe it to him to get him to 400 games - no matter what.
To me this is not negotiable.
Right now the whole club is struggling including Silk himself.
He is the type of person who...
Every instance of a sling tackle like that one up to now has resulted in suspension
Every instance of a sling tackle like that one into the future will result in suspension
Unless the perpetrator is.... well....
Not a dirty player and looked apologetic immediately after but was dangerous.
Not sure how tribunal views these in that if the tackled player is ok then there's no charge
Shaun Burgoyne has had amazing longevity in the game of AFL football, and there are certain records that probably aren't kept that he could break or be extremely close to breaking. With Trent Burgoyne being taken in the 2019 draft, could Shaun Burgoyne be the first Uncle/Nephew match-up in the...

Unless I’m very much mistake, we have our first father/son rookie. Whilst it gets confirmed tomorrow, tonight’s events mean Trent is now a Port Adelaide player like his dad and grandfather.

A good move for the 2004 Port Adelaide Premiership player. With his current club languishing in 9th and going nowhere fast, it can't really get any worse, can it?

SEN reporting that Burgoyne may be joining the Suns on a 3 year deal. Assuming the deal is part playing/part coaching

News broke last night that we're chasing him and offering him a Hodge to Brisbane like deal with two years as a player and two years as a coach. I hope this is true because we could really use someone of his experience/leadership while our young list develops.
What do you guys think?
Welcome to this fascinating, highly-anticipated encounter we've all been looki..... oh who am I kidding its a yawnfest waiting to happen in frigid Tassie where footy's always slow, shit & scrappy.
I'll be happy to walk away with 4 points & put another nail in No We Kent Stinkley's coffin. How...
