Omg. What a tool
How can he not rate Harris and zorko. Both outstanding in the premiership team that played the best football (all-be-it in patches) throughout the entire season and finals.
...match winner doesn't help any argument.
As Fadge has repeatedly requested, list the games where Cripps has had big last quarters, kicked a late goal, gave goal assist, won clearances that was enough to get Carlton a win by a kick in a big game.
SamWalsh is the bloke who has done that for...

...a deal that could be in excess of $1.5m per year"
Kane Cornes "How could Carlton give a 5 year deal worth more than $2m per year? That's as stupid as drafting SamWalsh over Conor Rozee"
Collingwood supporters on Bigfooty "Huh huh huh Brown paper bags huh huh huh"
And so the cycle continues...
I did this analysis late last year when discussing who the Blues should pick in the draft - whether they should be a pure midfielder (like Jagga / Draper) or a hybrid (like Lalor / FOS).
Last year we played a largely four midfield rotation 55% of the time and a five midfield rotation 45% of...
I like it,but we need to get Fog in there. His win percentage in the last few years would be one of the highest in the side.

Loving the JSoS pick. That is my backline as well. Actually, that is my team with exception of moir. I think it is Moir vs Kemp and the MC choose an extra runner. But i could be wrong if Moir/Kemp are killing the praccy games.

...and will try and add a little to what Juice has already said. The rehab group consisted of Charlie Curnow, Rob Monahan, Matt Duffy and SamWalsh, they pretty much did their own thing and went to the oval next door when match sim started. I saw Alex Cincotta briefly doing some handball with...

I know thats what CD said but to me SDK wasn't really close to the top 3 or 4 players that day. Cripps, TDK, Walsh and Kennedy absolutely bulldozed Geelong in the middle that night and SDK for that. He let TDK set the tone. Curnow was also massive that night.
To me SDK is best suited down back...

Todays training report
Classic case of trains too hard for his own good. According to track watchers they expect him back in full training later this coming week or early next.
Back doing high speed running etc so can't be far off.
presenting samwalsh ladies and kentlemen.. same story, different year.
was locked in my side from the picker opening. but his body just keeps letting him down.
...over the years my take is that early on in the rebuild l want players that are reliable and set standards with work ethic etc. Guys like SamWalsh are great early in a rebuild.
If the players you take, take a long time to come on, or have work rate problems that need to be overcome it can...
SamWalsh has more chance of becoming the Carlton ruck than Geoff Walsh has of becoming the Carlton President anytime soon.
Very different roles, different skillsets, different pay.
The hits keep coming for Carlton this pre-season.
SamWalsh does a hamstring and is out for a month.
Nic Newman does a knee and is out for the season.
And Luke Sayers has done his groin and is out forever.
Apparently back doing laps now. Think he'll be pretty close to 100% for round 1, he was in the best condition he's been in a few years before the string so would hope given he's only missed a couple of weeks he'll be in for a big year.
Chayce has every trait you want in a footballer other than the mental side
He lacks confidence , composure and overthinks things
Physically he’s pretty much got everything you need
