As an fyi Brayden George has a 2 year contract to end of 2026. So would need to pay him out if he was asked to leave at the end of this year.

List Mgmt. Brady Rawlings | Head of Football Talent (Recruitment, LM & TPP)

You can justify most of those recruiting decisions individually, but they don't add up to a coherent or successful list management strategy. And none of them you could count as a big win, it's fair to expect a few out of 17. Having said that, I actually think we have done a good job selecting...

List Mgmt. Brady Rawlings | Head of Football Talent (Recruitment, LM & TPP)

I've told you before ferball, don't bring well thought out reasoned points to big footy. You will upset the local already emotional and angry locals
  8. ferball

List Mgmt. Brady Rawlings | Head of Football Talent (Recruitment, LM & TPP)

Stephenson was a good choice. In his first year he averaged just under 20 touches and a goal a game. Then he did his hip ****ing around and was never the same. Atu was steak knives in that deal and was never played in the position he was recruited. Meh but worth a shot at the time. Corr was...

...Deck was damp so I could handle a few double grabs but doesnt excuse the kicking skills, far out... Zac Fisher sat on the grass with George Wardlaw at Arden St end during the match sim, he looked fine so not sure what the go was there. GW looked ordinary, a limp, yucky looking bruising on...

List Mgmt. Best side for start of 2025

In fairness, two of those three years in which we actually won the fixture turned into horrific nightmares, and both times it was due to factors out of our control. I don't want to put the mozz on us but if we win this one, Arden St might turn into a sinkhole and suck George Wardlaw into the abyss

He needs to work on those strings. North took a punt on him highly rated. Get those pistons right boy George.

AFL Pre-Season Injury Crisis: Can We Explain It?

...of that injury. Phillipou has been running a tonne this pre-season and developed a thigh bone stress fracture - makes sense. Perhaps George Wardlaw was sprinting at training and tore his hammy - sprinting makes. Nick Daicos has overused his Plantar Fascia so it became sore - again, makes...

Player Watch #6: George Wardlaw - [multiple sources] - GW suffers 10-12 week hammy at training - no surgery required + will miss start of season

Player Watch #6: George Wardlaw - [multiple sources] - GW suffers 10-12 week hammy at training - no surgery required + will miss start of season

...after the incident, after he was caught by a couple of the coaches, he denied he knew anything about it and had never even heard of George Wardlaw, well, on hearing that, he was escorted back to the ground and was held by staff until police arrived. Under intense interrogation where he was...

Most overrated player in the AFL currently?

Started very strong with English but lost your way badly quickly Semi agree with Parish, King would be good if he could get on the park. And noone rates McCartin to begin with

Unofficial Preview Round 1 - Us versing the Chocolate Frogs down the road

I am keeping out of that George Wardlaw thread at all costs and I'm blocking ferball - that guy has the power for real.

Player Watch #29: Will Phillips [Part II] - Extends to End of 2025

He's a good player but he won't be keeping Wardlaw out. If he's doing that well we will just play both of them.

Player Watch #6: George Wardlaw - [multiple sources] - GW suffers 10-12 week hammy at training - no surgery required + will miss start of season

It is a devastating blow for George and question marks on his durability will be there for the foreseeable future. I agree with some posts above that are downplaying the significance to the short term success of the side, however the long term success is heavily dependant on Wardlaw becoming...

Player Watch #6: George Wardlaw - [multiple sources] - GW suffers 10-12 week hammy at training - no surgery required + will miss start of season

You won’t get much support here. Apparently Wardlaws hamstrings aren’t a concern. Played 18 games last year. She’s apples.

    Position 2025 Forwards

Parker locked and loaded now. Was considering him before the news, but this almost makes him a must-have. Sucks about George, poor kid can't get a clean run. His time will come, gun.

They have our Account details so if I see a $4000 G Wardlaw surgery I will let it slide And do we need to update the “2 weeks” mantra to “12 weeks”?

Most overrated player in the AFL currently?

Wowsers. You got some good players in there. Are you saying they're just overrated or you don't rate them at all? I would say english, Lewis, Rankine, butters, Rowell are atleast above average players and will have/have had long careers. The rest I can see an argument for.
