Thanks for including Brad Hill, may not have been here long enough to ingratiate himself with the fans, but is clearly one of the best wings to have played for Freo ever.

Sri Lanka aren't that bad, they had a bad day yesterday, missed a couple outs on reviews, dropped like 5 catches, it could've completely changed the game.
We haven't won a series in Sri Lanka in 14 years
Last time we went there we won the first test comfortably and then they spanked us by an...

Khawaga getting 200 runs lol - the guy couldn’t make it to 10 runs an innings a month ago against proper opposition.

At pick 22 we see ball 1. As I'm on top of the list I resume my bromance with BaileyBanfield!!
My fellow mod DragoDelph follows me at pick 23. His first pick was Baeshaw who's taken, his second pick is [checks list] Sccops (???) who I'm...
Excited about the comments regarding the next rung down players including Chapman and Sharp. Next rung down meaning players with capacity for further development.
And really looking forward to adding Cox in his return given your comments. He clearly wasn't ready when he came back last season...

BaileyBanfield kicked one of his goals because of a mix up with defenders leaving him unmanned.
Others have said this but Sharp is another who's hit the gym...
I always remember Freo won all 3 games in 2016, then went to turd for about the first 10 matches before we won, winning only 4 all year. Also flogged West Coast in 2018 - many of their fans were upset about it, then rejoiced watching them win a frickin' flag at the end of the 'real stuff'!
So...
...in the pre season vs the actual season.
Even moments in pre season games where it looks like we’ve unlocked a brand new weapon or that things have finally clicked - seem to have no bearing come round 1. See - Nat Fyfe as a dominant power forward, BaileyBanfield as a future Brownlow medalist etc

...for consistent performance. He’s a smart pick and absolutely steal at this stage to strengthen my interchange and forward line with a player who can contribute regularly to the overall score.
The player I selected at this pick is:
BaileyBanfield from the Fremantle Football Club.

I don’t believe Murphy Reid is really a goal kicking mid at AFL level. He’s very much a pure inside mid, but doesn’t posses the power and explosiveness of Rayner or the evasiveness and speed of Bailey. He’s much more like a Pendlebury in style and athletic profile, albeit more hand ball...
I think fremantle has an abundance of pure mids and not enough who can sort of go forward and do what Bailey or Rayner do for us. Murphy's profile reads like a goalkicking mid so they may benefit fitting him in, possibly pushing Banfield out of the half forward line.
If they wait for a pure mid...

But there's the catch-22 of being a good midfield prospect in a team with much better midfield prospects in front of you. He has been playing and training as a midfielder his whole time at Freo/Peel. This is touched on in a recent article (https://archive.md/uCgHR):
"While he also believes he...

Good players adapt. You throw them around the park and they find a way to make an impact.
Erasmus should have been eyeing up BaileyBanfield playing as a high half forward over the last year or two and saying “that’s my pathway into this teams 22”. But clearly the coaches didn’t...
Really keen to see if Erasmus can take that next step. There's a player in there, but as a top 10 pick, he's been a bit underwhelming to date. In his defense, he's had inconsistent stretches of selection that haven't done justice to whether he's got the capability. Too often he's one of the...
