Hang on Meow....
Are you really telling me Lynch hasn't been awarded an All-Australian since he's been at Richmond?
The AA Selectors really do not like the Tigers, do they?
The same TomLynch who was last All Australian in 2016, as a Gold Coast player?
Maybe we could still nominate Tom Hawkins post retirement, given he was at least All Australian in 2022.
...stumbled upon Meteoric Rise's A Graders list, which has nothing to do with performance and everything to do with salary.
Here it is:
1. TomLynch
2. Ben McKay
3. Christian Petracca
4. Shai Bolton
5. Clayton Oliver
6. Marcus Bontempelli
7. Brodie Grundy
8. Tim Kelly
9. Jeremy McGovern

We only need to present Dusty as an example of what can happen to your career as a marquee player in a Richmond guernsey. He'd be an idiot to not strongly consider us.
...being happy to watch him waltz to Collingwood right under our noses ! Wake up ! He will win finals against us !
We fought for and won TomLynch and that netted us two more flags. **** Collingwood. **** Geelong. **** Essendon and the dead horse they rode in on. Harley Reid is Tigers bound...
...without offering up their own lists and merely dropping the odd name here and there....
My favourite is Meteoric Rise putting forward TomLynch's name. Lynch is a great bloke, and has been a fantastic footballer, but after playing just 8 games in the last two seasons, there are 200 players...
Jack Trengove
Jack Grimes
Tom Rockliff
Lance Whitnall
Luke McDonald
Luke Shuey (stiff but barely got on the park while captain)
Ryan Griffen, TomLynch and Steven May
Probs not worst but can’t imagine GAJ being great at the off field captaincy stuff.
When is the last season TomLynch put together an 'A grade year'?
Same too with Shai Bolton.
Daniel Rioli a good player, and had his best season in 2024, but a long way from the top 40 players in the competition.
Harley Reid will be there one day, but too early to call it for 2025.
Good call from Korne to exclude Sam Walsh but surely Sicily, Dangerfield and Rozee are A Grade?
Good call to include Hogan, Blakey and Horne-Francis.
TomLynch, Shai Bolton , Daniel Rioli and Harley Reid are ones they both missed
Stephenson was a good choice. In his first year he averaged just under 20 touches and a goal a game. Then he did his hip ****ing around and was never the same.
Atu was steak knives in that deal and was never played in the position he was recruited. Meh but worth a shot at the time.
Corr was...
...else to take that spot. lacks physicality and that's something you have or you don't. I wonder if he could be played like Adelaide tomlynch? that roaming flanker/winger role to exploit smaller opponents.
(collard) was always a defender of his and still have hope it will click. but...
To answer regarding how I assess the results as a fellow headhunter, it would be a bit wanky of me to give him an overall mark.
This year in particular, I felt he did his job. No doubt about it. Reasons based on my previous post.
Previous years, I am by no means saying he was great. However...
Don't agree that you just use 1st round picks on needs. But if the talent level is close or depth in that position already, then sure positional needs/character/location/medical may be more decisive factors than just taking best talent.
You can take the best talent and trade some players on the...
You essentially just described Mark Blicavs career minus the 2nd Ruck stints.
If we end up with that you won't find me complaining. Another player we have let do his thing at will against us for over a decade.
I’m loving what we are hearing about Dan Curtain. I can see him developing into a triple threat type player.
Add a dash of TomLynch - running between the arcs, linking up, outlet mark on kickouts, centre marking target and creative fwd entries.
Mix with floating through CHF with high...
2017
- Balta
- Baker played in 2 flags then more or less provided us with the Luke Trainor pick.
- Higgins on his way out the door provided us with the Tom Brown pick.
- Coleman-Jones provided us with 40% of the capital for Taranto.
2018
- Jack Ross now firmly in our best 22.
2019
-...
Connor Downie going around again with the Nth Melbourne VFL side
COACH: TomLynch (third season)
STAYING: VFL: Ben Bath, Louis Butler, Tom Cappellari, Connor Downie, Charlie Harrop, Ben Huggard, Coby James, Nick Newton, Alex Noblett, Bode Stevens, Lachlan Wynd; AFL: Jackson Archer, Miller...
North randomly deciding to trade MegaSheezel to Richmond for TomLynch and an early second-rounder, without canvasing any other teams for their offers, with no media hubbub or speculation at all in the lead-up. The expected offers otherwise would be basically one of the other three or four best...
