Afl's update on the list . Will cast through and see if there's any updates to the above sticked post - maybe Sam Nehme is the only one of top of my head.

Allowed to have 3 Category B rookies on the list - at present we only have one player in Josh Bennetts who is Category B as Fionn O'Hara went back to Ireland to play rugby for Ulster.
Appreciate the effort but it’s all subjective as to how much those players will improve their teams.
No one would have dreamt of Bobby Hill winning the Norm Smith this time last year
Jeez George - we are talking possible slight improvements by trades for most of those teams. Which player would you have wanted in the list of traded players below. I'd take McAdam :-)
Adelaide
Draft picks: 10, 14, 20, 89
Traded in: Chris Burgess
Traded out: Tom Doedee (FA), Shane McAdam

Brett Ratten’s brief taste as caretaker coach at North Melbourne was enough for him to want a full-time return to football and he has joined Hawthorn after being pursued by several clubs.
Asked to be a part-time helper for Alastair Clarkson at the Kangaroos, Ratten, who has been dumped by both...
KEY-POSITION tall Emerson Jeka is among three players delisted by Hawthorn on Tuesday.
Standing 198cm, Jeka’s axing comes as somewhat of a surprise given the club’s dearth of key options after Jacob Koschitzke’s trade request to Richmond last week.
WHO’S CALLED IT QUITS 2023’s retirements and...
Josh Morris and Emerson Jeka have both been informed they’ve played their last AFL game in the brown and gold, while category B rookie Fionn O’Hara will depart Hawthorn without a senior game to his name.

No surprises here.
Unfortunate for Morris as injuries at crucial times stopped him putting consistent footy together.
Jeka well documented issues with his game. Sounds like maybe Fionn is homesick
What was interesting looking at the distribution of 200cm players was how many some clubs are running with, going with a heap of battlers and project players to see who emerges.
...Rhys Mathieson, Shane McAdam, Beau McCreery, Jake Melksham, Josh Morris, Anthony Munkara, Jai Newcombe, Nic Newman, Xavier O'Halloran, Fionn O'Hara, Xavier O'Neill, Harry Perryman, Sam Philp, Cameron Rayner, James Rowbottom, Luke Ryan, Bailey Scott, Alex Sexton, Dom Sheed, Lachlan Sholl...
Other clubs OOC, I wouldn't think there is too much of interest in this group.

Great work. Can I ask for a similar analysis but keeping only the 2021 class “ie how the youth at the time of thread start” have developed? I feel this is a way to best answer the original question (how did the youth at the time actually perform over a few years)
Thread was started at the beginning of the 2021 season. Using Jan 1st as the measuring point, these were the U22 players in each club that season:
Adelaide (26 total)
Youth Games Played: 251/506 - 49.6%
Youth Goals Kicked: 106/230 - 46.1%
Youth Brownlow: 2/51 - 3.9%
Hawthorn (25 total)

...TBC:
Lachie Bramble - Strong VFL performances with Kade Simpson a strong supporter of his. Gone if additional list space is needed.
Fionn O'Hara - could be retained as a Cat B rookie for another year, which we might do if we want to sign Irish players moving fwd (when considering whether to...
Bramble lynch Morris Greene to me are certainties. Long 50/50. Kosi maybe traded along with Morrison and frost if there are buyers (not fit much mind you). Ohara surely will get longer would be hard to convince other international potentials to come if 2 years and out. Conor glass got 4…

If you thought Nash was a big mid....Noodle is the next step in the evolution.
Surely Maginness stays now. Imagine the horror of us turning up to a final in a year or two and finding him in oppo colours picking up Day or Newc!
