He made a mistake. I doubt there’s anyone on this forum who could say that they never have. The whole cancelling of people for an error era has ended and rightly so.
In the times that I’ve spoken to him he has always been a wonderful and inclusive young man, give him another shot. I’m sure...
I’ve said this on this forum before a few times, so sorry for the BRE (Broken Record Effect) . Max King, unlike his brother Ben, is said to be more of a pack marking forward holding his territory and less of a lead into open space forward, according to Mathew Lloyd, who is said to have had a lot...
Good Trac article in the Age today.

Loved Spider as a player!
Remember him kneeling down to talk us kids at the junior roo clinic, so he didn't have to bend in half and stuff his back.
Was a very good tap ruckman, but Goad is streets ahead of him athletically.
The main thing I really like about Dawson and Whitlock, is their...
Whitlock was really good yesterday. Took some great grabs. I know you don't rate Darling or Larkey's contested stuff but Whitlock made it look easy at times.

...convinced Whitlock is there abouts yet..
I think his upside vs downside is up in the air.
I personally think he’ll end up as a poor mans BenKing.. however, Clarkson approach to players could have him as a Roughead..
Im holding judgement on Whitlock. Its whether he is worth our first round...
He's obviously learned, grown a lot since then. He's admitted his faults and has clearly become better because of it. He made a mistake, a terrible one, but it's how you better yourself post that and he seems to have done that and earned the respect from his teammates back. I think we can leave...
...but not Miller. I assumed Sam Collins would have been ahead of Anderson, too. From looking at the 2024 groups, here are the changes:
IN: BenKing, Wil Powell, Matt Rowell
OUT: Witts
Team went from a 4-man leadership group to a 6-man group. Wil Powell (scandal aside) and Matt Rowell aren't...
...very long slog - and in true saints fan fashion I’m willing to wait a bit longer
Would not throw the kitchen sink at TDk but would try for someone else this year and wait another year and get Benking
Caveat on that is if the kings both have dire years and TDK wins the Brownlow and wants to...
But imagine the great story it would have created. Two disappointing twin brothers playing at the club they grew up supporting.
Only joking. I think Max will break out this year before some of the old ducks on here lose it. That said BenKing was right down the priority list.
You know what this Doncic trade reminds me of? It reminds me of when George Karl decided to trade a 27 year old Ray Allen to the Sonics for a 34 year old Gary Payton, because Karl felt he needed to work with GP again
Five months later both Payton and Karl were gone, Payton to the Lakers, who...
Not great news on Flanders - back issue. Graham 2 hamstrings also not encouraging for season.
Monday simulation. Humphrey is killing it. Jeffrey progressed. Lombard could play in OR. Moyle playing forward. Weller battling Jepson for wing spot.

Pretty sure that was part of the reason he was traded there!

Whiting said here he doesn't seem why he would leave. He's never been the one people ever speculated as leaving, it has always been BenKing and making sure he stays. I don't see why he would leave now. Plus these meetings were probably almost 4 months ago.. Things change.
Looks like there may be some truth to this. Compare the first picture below of his AFL debut against the GWS in round 4 last year to the second picture from preseason training a week or two ago. Certainly seems to be more muscle definition through the arms and shoulders when compared to last year.
...put on noticeable size in the summer and is impressing teammates on the track, with a chance he breaks into the side’s best forward line. BenKing and Jed Walter are currently the tall pillars, but Read’s elite endurance is impressive and gives the side a different look.
